Thanks Poppygirl! I've been good but thats only because the kids had football/cheer practice and it went a little later then usual. I had my ADR list and my phone with me though but my friend stayed and we chatted the entire time so I didn't make any changes.

We are going for the first time as DVC owners.
We are going Nov 29th- Dec 5th we are staying at saratoga. We plan on going to the MVMCP on tuesday the 30th. anyone else going then????

Ill be there at that time! 2nd-10th! @ Saratoga!! Thats our DVC home resort!! Were going to MVMCP on the 3rd!

So....how's it going today? Am I going to need to come over there and confiscate your computer? Or are you going to be able to maintain? I've found that obsessively making color-coded charts of my trip activities and ADR's helps me to not give in to the craving to change things around again!

I decided to go ahead and add Cape May Cafe on 12/23 at 8:05am. DH told me I had to stop or we woudln't have time to enjoy the parks . He just doesn't realize I will be getting my character fix, without doing it in the parks.

woo- this is our first trip as DVC too- we own at BLT! can't wait. we arrive on the 4th!

Please someone tell me to leave my ADRS ALONE!!! I am really itching to make changes. My ADR day for our March trip that may never happen is coming up so I am looking at that and thinking HMMM maybe we can do that in Dec with the kids. I'm trying really hard to be good until the new Mexico restaurant opens for ADRS but its killing me!!

Got our MVMCP tickets in the mail today! Starting to feel very very real AND my grandma phoned me yesterday all excited b/c she got Disney Mail - just her confirmation package

December can't come soon enough!!

I love getting Disney mail!
We wont get our tickets in the mail this time - I will have to pick them up at willcall, I guess.

I'm being a good girl. I am spending all my free time today on here and on stubhub looking at tickets to take teh kids to the Phillies game today. Hurrican Earl messed up DH's work day so he is home now so he thought hey lets go to the game tonight. BUT he did bring up WDW and asked how many more GCs do we need to buy to cover our DDP cost and the extra meals. SOOOO that means I will have to look at my ADRs but I am going to try and wait until the Mexico place opens. Does anyone know when they are opening for ADRs? I thought I read the 16th but I can not find it now.

It's official! I have made my ressies for Coronado Springs Resort with the free dining package AND I got my ADRs done!!! We also got tickets for MVMCP. I am doing the happy dance!

It will be my husband and myself and we will be met by our dear friends Lee and Deb, who just recently moved down to Tampa from Nattick Mass.

This is a last minute vacation because I was laid off in April of 09 and funds have been a little tight. We normally go on vacation every two years because that's how long it takes me to save up. Well, I was having Disney withdrawals and just wanted to go play at the Disney web site and see what it would cost for just a short weekend trip. I kept playing with the numbers, looking at all the discounts that I could possibly get and then I saw it... The free dining option. I could actually ADD a day and get free dining and it would cost less than what I had planned. SO I SWIPED IT UP, CALLED DISNEY, GOT EVERYTHING I WANTED... IT'S A DONE DEAL!!!

It has been a while since we've been to the parks and I'm a little worried because the last time we were there I ended up on crutches. I have severe plantar fasciitis and I managed to tear up the fascia in my foot from the extreme swelling. I have already started a new medicine schedule to help keep the swelling down and I do plan on packing my walking boot and crutches just in case. Nothing will keep me from doing the parks! I just know that I will have to take it easy and rest my feet as much as possible... but we are talking Disney World!

I know some may recommend renting a scooter buggy, and that is an option for me, but has anyone ever done Disney in one of those or a wheel chair? You are at butt level with everyone and it's not as fun as one would think. Plus the fact that I can't drive them and I keep hitting walls and poles and things! Not to mention the fact that I like to walk holding my husbands hand or arm. I can't do that sitting in a scooter buggy

But I'm not going to let this get me down! I have some planning to do, things to pack, window decorations to make! I'm going to Freaking Walt Disney World!!!

I'm leaving work early today....to take my friend and her family to the airport because....they are flying to DISNEY!!!! It's killing me! KILLING ME I tell you! (whiny voice) Why can't I be leaving for Disney today? Oh that's right....I really hate hot sticky weather which is why we chose December instead of September!

Monday my BFF and her family leave for Disney too. I'm going to be all alone here while all my friends are in WDW. What will I do for 10 days???? (and if anyone says "change my ADRs again..."

Going again in Dec. though we probably should be putting our funds into the down payment of our next home since the current one we're in is on the market!

I'm dealing with the fact that my trip is 14 weeks away. I've been looking forward to this for months. I keep looking at these boards and anything Disney and kind of winding myself up. But I was dealing with it.

THEN... In my inbox today, I get my Disney Destinations "September Hello" and now the heart rate is really shooting up. I'm more anxious than ever to get down there and soak everything in.

For those that didn't get this email, in it is EVERYTHING that is Christmas season related . The decorations, the events, the lights and the Giant gingerbread houses.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

That's it! Call the guys in the white coats with the nets. I'm losing it. I can't take the waiting any more!!!
