Rabbitthecat was staying at AKL. Boma is in the AKL. I'm guessing they were on the deluxe dining plan as they also had 5 signature dinners booked. So Boma breakfast on most days would make a lot of sense. We are doing a similar plan to use our credits in December. 3 large meals a day is too much food for us.

Yep, totally correct We upgraded to Deluxe from free dining and since we were (well, still are in Oct.) at AKL, Boma for breakfast each day made a lot of sense - plus I could eat breakfast 3x a day and looooove the breakfast at Boma. Sadly, without free and/or deluxe dining it's a little harder to justify eating there every morning in October I'll get there at least once, though!

Also, agree that three big meals a day - especially in the heat - can really be too much food. A big breakfast and a good dinner, with some snacks in between, is definitely my recommendation for how to eat on a trip, meal plan or no.

Back to Disney we go!
We are heading back December 2-13 to celebrate my finishing LAW SCHOOL! It will be DH, Momma and Stepdaddy.
Originally we had cancelled our trip since I wasn't sure I would get holidays in my first year,but looks like I do!

SO - we weren't able to get in POR with FD - SO we are staying at POFQ, 10 MYW PH, FD. Already have a bunch of reservations but I'm still desperate for Le Cellier - might have to breakdown and book a Candlelight Processional Dinner package to ensure we get to eat there once.

Any predictions of crowds while we will be there?
Also, what's the consensus on MVMCP - worth it?

That's funny...I'm the opposite. Going 12/9-12/14 and wanted POFQ with FD, but had to take POR instead.

Where you delve into the details of each day...each hour....each moment of your upcoming vacation....this is when you sign up for ride-max and spend your evenings playing withthe software and putting in all sorts of different combinations of rides until you have the perfect plan for each park day....you re-organize your planning notebook, print menus and photos of the restaurants and resort where you are staying....plan which rides to get on first....second....third...etc at each park. Oh my...just having ADRs does not mean the planning is over! Now is when we visit the cool DISigns section of the disboards and glean all sorts of creative ideas for how to use our time over the next few months creating t-shirts and invitations and surprises for our kids. Oh and let's not forget the coordination of outfits for each day! Seriously...we have to look good together for the photos! That means there is shopping to do (WOOT!). Or is that just me?

we are going december 12th-18th for our first december trip. we were suppose to go july 19th-29th but we had to cancel our trip a week before we left due to some financial reason. but we got some help and now were booked for december. we are staying at the All Star Sports resort with free quick service dining. i cant wait to see all of the decorations. christmas is my favorite holiday and disney is my favorite thing so this is a dream come true.

Our nieghbors are going with us and I think they already think I am crazy by just planning out which days at which park and already booking ADRs !!!

I do have a funny story, another one of my neighbors went last Oct and by like day 3 at WDW her husband got fed up with her micro managed details and said he would plan the day and they would just "wing" it....morale of the story...they only got on THREE rides they really wanted that day

Does anyone know if they do anything for Hanukkah in WDW?? We are a multi-religion household (I am Catholic, DH is Jewish, we celebrate everything...more the merrier!!!!)
