**Official December 2010 Thread!!**

I have found that I get different info depending on how I enter times for an ADR. This am, when I selected
dinner for Brown Derby on 12/24, got a message that nothing was available, I then changed my search and put in 6:30 pm.... three reservations time appeared! Don't know why this happened within 10 seconds of each search, but I will be putting in a specific time and not using the breakfast, lunch, dinner options in the drop down menu.
Anyone hear anything solid about CP reservations yet?

I just called 407 WDW-dine to ask about CP Dining reservations. The CM told me they were not yet taking reservations, but that reservations would be able to be made on-line this year! I am sort of skeptical of this, but hope it is true as I find the new on-line booking system to be great. I have gotten all the ADRs we want at the times we want and am off line everyday by about 6:10 am. That sure beats spending lots of time on the phone with a CM booking ADRs. Wish that Fantasmic could be booked on line!

They are 8 and 11. This week has been really hard on them - especially since they don't get a summer vacation at all this year. ( I'll be recovering from my surgery for the whole summer. )

Our friends went without us, so we've been getting updates and pictures of all the fun they are having. After the second day, I stopped showing them to the kids.

oh gosh, that is just awful. i am so sorry. but just think..........come December, you will get to send them the pictures of all the fun you are having then enjoying the beautiful holiday decor! Hang in there and sending lots of pixie dust!

We're going to WDW DEC 15-23, 2010. I just ordered our tickets for MVMCP for DEC 19th, too! I am really excited as this is our first trip during Christmas season. We haven't told our boys yet...not sure when I'll tell them.

I have been calling everyday and they keep saying they hope it will be soon. I just say me too! Online would be nice, but it would be hectic between the tiers and the time windows etc.

When you get a chance we have added a day and changed resorts. We are not Dec 18-26 and we are at Old Key West.

I was thinking the same thing. ADR's are done. Airline tickets purchased. Now what is left to do until December? Wait!

My wife has yet to get the airline tickets, but that is her job, so I'm pretty much done, too. Still deciding on if we are doing anything special, but undecided yet...

Since I am a compulsive list maker, I have stared making lists for the little things to take along with us, and just about everyday I am adding items or taking them off. I have also started a basket of stuff that we are taking with us: Ponchos, glow sticks, pens/markers & autograph books....

Good idea. Because we are moving in 6 weeks or so, can't do too much like that, need to keep items down as much as possible (already have so much stuff... )

Oh well, it'll be here when it gets here...

I am the same way. I actually have our toiletry bag almost packed thanks to bath and body works sale.

I've already bought tshirts to make for our trip, now that the kids are almost done school we can start making them!!! I also already started buying them stuff for their stockings. We are there for Christmas and I book them a special Disney activity for their Christmas gift and then they get a stocking full of goodies.

I can not wait 6 months I don't think I will be able to make it that long though!

No way are you done. Now you need to:

1. review your plans, see areas you may want to change.
2. Change which park you will be going to that day.
3. Make new ADR's to account for different park, cancel old ADR's.
4. Review plans, realize that the plan before you changed it was better.
5. Go to step 2.

That should keep you busy for a while.

Sorry to say this but you won't know what the weather will be like down there until you are there. The last 2 years we have really had a mix. 08 it was 80 pretty much every day except 2 and the one day the low was in the low 40s and high didn't even make it to 60. Then last year the first 4 days were 50's for a high. We started out wearing long sleeve tees and hoodies and the kids actually wore gloves and hats since it was in the 30s at nights. But the last 2 days it was 80s.

What makes all that worse was the day we left for last years trip it was never supposed to get over 60 so I never packed our swim suits. The one day it hit 85 the kids were so angry.

Alright almost all my ADRs are made just waiting on CRT and a Fantasmic package!!!

I was able to get everything I wanted at the exact times too!

Like PP said I will check them a million times change them a million times and add and take away all of them. I think we should see who keeps the most to their original ADRs. I know I never can. LOL When I make the ones for my March trip its even worse since its just DH and I. Dec is easy since the kids tell me where they want to go wiht DH its all on me.

Exactly. I've a lot of the threads from December trips and what not, so I know we'll have to take pretty much everything, short of parkas..

On the plus side, we are staying at BCV, so we will have the in room laundry, like we did Sept 09 AKV. We use those Purex 3-in1 sheets, work nice.

So excited to see the Osbourne lights in person!!!
