okay, i have updated the LIST OF ALL DECEMBER disers= wow there are a lot of us that first and second week!

Is there a list of when people are doing the MVMCP? If not, could a poll be set up? Would love to know when everyone is planning on going

I also booked Tony's Town Square for 12/19 in case we can't get our CRT ressie, which I have to wait till Saturday to book. We still need to buy our MVMCP tix for 12/19, but since we just booked our flights, I'm pretty sure my mom wants to give her credit card a break and obviously i am calling everyday for the CPP

WAHHHHHH my ADR luck has run out. So far I haven't been getting up at 5 am to make my ADRs I've been able to get everything I've wanted, even Le Celier, at 6-6:30 am. Well today I was trying for a Kona dinner at around 6 and NOTHING!! I mean nothing there from 4-10pm. Heck I only had 18 choices between 4-10pm. 52 places were completely booked. I ended up grabbing Crystal Palace since it was one of the only places that we have never dined at for dinner that was around or in the MK. Hoping I can get Kona when the 180 day window actually opens up. Anyone else have any luck for 12/24?

i saw the same thing this morning .. and i was on right at 6:00! luckily i got the two restaurants i wanted but i had to switch the times for them around, so we are now going to le cellier for lunch and tutto italiano for dinner.

btw, the crystal palace is very good!! we went there on our last trip

doesn't that seem weird that there are no reservations available for Kona for that day... maybe they are planning a refurb

i'm convinced it's just not in the system yet. you'll get it once it's there.

I didn't see my name on the list. I will be in Disney from the 11th - 18th. AKL the first 3 nights 11th, 12th, and 13th, and Poly the last nights, 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th.

Finally booked our flights. What an awful year for air travel! At least we got a decent (for these days) deal. Took a couple of months of patience, but we got it. So:

DVC Reservation? Check.
ADRs? Check
MVMCP Tickets? Check.
Air Travel Reservations? Check

Next up: towncar reservations.

But I've learned to wait until the month before, just in case the airline decides to change the departure/arrival times on us.

So it looks like I'll be coasting for a few months, with nothing to do for planning the trip.

Drat. What's an obsessive planner to do?

I got Kona So excited. I guess they didn't load all the times this am. I just got it 10 minutes ago. The only things not available were Criticos, Le Celier, and Yachtsmans. I am so happy now!!

wow, so sorry to hear this, but you will LOVE december. How old are your kiddos? wishing you a quick recovery and sending pixie dust your way.

They are 8 and 11. This week has been really hard on them - especially since they don't get a summer vacation at all this year. ( I'll be recovering from my surgery for the whole summer. )

Our friends went without us, so we've been getting updates and pictures of all the fun they are having. After the second day, I stopped showing them to the kids.

Caramel Kitchen to open late September . . . the official name is Karamelle-Küche, German for “caramel kitchen,” and the new shop in the Germany pavilion at Epcot is themed like an Old World German caramel shop. A show kitchen will feature cast members making fresh caramel popcorn, caramel apples, caramel-covered strawberries and marshmallows. Werther’s Original candy will be on the shelves, and the shop also will include gourmet caramels, cookies, brownies, fudge and cupcakes. It’s the only free-standing retail location in the world for Storck, makers of Werther’s Original Caramels, and you’ll find some goodies on the shelves that you can’t find anywhere else. The shop replaces the Glas und Porzellan shop.
