This is how I'm passing the countdown time (well, when I'm not working that is!) - I just finished laminating over 100 mickey heads (gathered over several months from Home Depot!) to make either a wreath or garland for our POFQ window. Took ages, but I'm excited to decorate our room window - I've never done it before! I also picked up a huge snowman and candycanes, some glittery snowflakes, some new garland and gingerbread house window clings! Can't wait!!!

Where did they have Christmas stuff already? I keep looking, but Target only has a small amount of Christmas stuff and everywhere else just has Halloween stuff.

They had quite a bit at Michaels and a few things at the Dollar Tree. I will def take and post pics when I'm done!

Now that we're PIF, I'm thinking about putting in an order to flashingblinkylights.com for Christmas themed LED wands to use for the parades. They run about $2 each if ordered in increments of 12. Anyone interested? We could have them shipped to the first person down and then they can pass them off at the end of their vacation. What do you guys think?

We are hoping for tickets to Magic and Merriment too, but I keep telling myself there is no chance. They sold out in minutes last year but I am going to try. I need PIXIE DUST!!

We are officially out of the 40's and have 39 days left

I went to the Christmas tree shop today and picked up some travel toiletries. I will pull the suitcases down this weekend and start packing our MUST have trip stuff for DS (3) I cannot wait we are getting so close.
I also won our rental car on priceline for $16/day and upgraded to a Full size for $2/day.

Been reading for weeks & this is my very first post!! DH and I will be at CSR 12/4 - 12/10. DS21 will be joining 12/7. This is to celebrate DS fulfilling is childhood dream and has become a paramedic with the Fire Dept. He's so excited and we are celebrating with him. It's our 2nd trip this year, DH and I were there in May for our 25th anniversary. Had such a great time we couldn't wait to get back and found a lovely "excuse" for another trip. Funny - we hadn't been since DS's 5th birthday - so 16 years ago. I can't imagine why we waited so long. As soon as this one is over I'll be looking for a reason to go back. DIS has provided so much info, we would not have had so much great stuff lined up without all the advice and tips. Thanks to all who contribute. I'll have my green Mickey heads - look for us...:

It's almost midnight and my DH will not be thrilled if I wake him up to tell him I ordered pearl cages, so I'll tell all of you instead!

I saw that it's around $20 to Pick-a-Pearl so I think we'll give it a try this trip. Also saw some Dis-cussions about these super cute carriage pearl cages for only a few dollars with S&H:

Couldn't decide what DDs would like, so I got 3 of each just to be safe! They are only gold plated, so I'll try some clear fingernail polish to slow down the tarnishing...hope I can get it on without globbing them up too much.

I mostly lurk and slacked off a little on the planning once my ADRs were set but I'm ramped up again...I have it all planned down to the minute!

At a birthday party this weekend, my friend gave us LED sunglasses. I told the kids not to use them and to save them for the Disney parades. That gave me an idea, so I also went to flashingblinkylights.com and found the Santa swords and fiber-optic wands. I figure I'll buy them online b/c they'll be cheaper than buying them in the parks before the fireworks and parades. Only thing is, they have to be ordered in groups of 12 (@1.59 each). Anyone interested?

Thanks for the flashingblinkylights tip. I hadn't heard of that. I'll be at GF 12/4 - 12/11 for a Grand Gathering, there's 12 of us so that site is perfect. We're doing MVMCP on 12/10, I'm loving the blinking earrings. Thanks again for all the help in planning.
