Oh my did you see what Monday's temps changed too 49 high and 25 low. That's our MK day and we're seeing Wishes/MSEP at night. Now I might have to bring have to bring my light winter coat. Ahhhhh!

I would think your DH would make a pretty good windbreaker. Know what you mean on the weather, I have broken down and decided to get hoppers now, so we can move around our touring schedule if necessary. We had HS slotted on Sunday (the warmest day), but no snowp on rainy days and we don't want to miss Osbourne Lights with snowp.

i want to thank you all for your kind thoughts and words of encouragement.

however, my mother and I will not be celebrating any of our personal triumphs next week at disney

they took ultrasounds of her abdomen and found that her gallbladder was twice the size. because she has CHF, she is not a candidate to have it removed. they were able to stick a tube down her throat yesterday and drain the bile. we don't know if they were able to remove any of the stones. this is all upsetting.
i want my mom to be happy and strong again. both of us have overcame some of the worst tragedies life faces this past year and we really needed this trip. i am just frustrated with this situation. believe me, i am through the roof happy that my mom isn't in as much pain anymore--but i know she wanted this as much as i did.

i hope you all have a wonderful time in disney! you all deserve it and have been such fun with your planning. i wish you all nothing but pixie dust and magic

I'm so sorry to hear you have to postpone your trip. I know how devastating it is. Good luck with your mom for a speedy recovery so that you two will get to enjoy your girls trip to Disney.

We leave for the airport in 18 hours! I'm stuck here at work trying to focus and can't because of all the stuff I still need to do at home. I can't believe I'm just a half nights sleep away from being in Disney World. I swear I felt like this trip would never come.

And Monday is our CPP night with Illuminations at 9:30 pm - brrr! That will still be much better than the 17 degree high and 8 degree low predicted for our home on December 13.

I am gonna shop today for some tights for my DD and some nice thick socks! I don't want my toes being cold!!!

It was cold and rainy last December, so I would rather it at least be cold and dry. That rain all day long was miserable and if we hadn't had a dinner reservation we wanted to keep, we would have goen back to the room.

We are still on track to go, so far. DH gets back this evening from inprocessing for the Army Reserves and he has a job interview tomorrow morning, which seems really promising. If we can at the very least get Christmas Eve and Day at WDW, I will be happy. With the Military discounts, we can go back sooner than we might normally.

And I haven't been able to run any of the errands I need to because its been a complete whiteout since Sunday. We have over 2 feet of snow and its not supposed to stop until tonight. Ahhhh.

DH told me to just go out. So I guess I'm venturing out in the blizzard. Off to the Northface store and CVS. Wish me luck!

just gotta get through today work, then baking; tomorrow work then orchestra concert. Then Friday I can sleep in a bit, get things packed up and ready to go.

Hours... I have 31 hours before I board a plane and head down to Florida. Check into the motel after we land. Then I head to the POR to check in and get my key/tickets/ADR cards.

Then it will be time to get my Mouse on. Yea HAAAAAAA!

Where are you and the 2 ft of snow?! I feel your pain about not being able to run errands. My daughter has been sick, so I have her home from school and I haven't done any errands. Hoping to cram it all in tomorrow and Fri.
