I always forget this thread exists - I've been spending so much time in the theme park forum and the restaurant forum! Now that I have everything set, I will be in here more to chat with all of you!

Exactly 5 weeks from today we will be loading the plane heading to Orlando and the Magical Express Bus!! Can't wait! We had a major scare here with my dad. He was told that he needed triple bypass surgery and my parents were scheduled to go to WDW with us. We thought for sure we were going to have to cancel their part of the trip. Turns out, the doctors were able to do Angioplasty on Monday and he now has the "all clear" to travel...so our trip is back on!! Yahoo!!
This will be our third trip with my parents and my boys love going with them. The thought of them not making the trip was SO sad. My mom and I have a tradition that on the last day of our trip we all go to DTD. My mom and I shop 'till we drop and my husband, dad and the boys go on a boat ride. I was so not looking forward to shopping alone. I am so thankful they are joining us...so now I really need to get moving on my "to do" lists. It's ONLY FIVE WEEKS AWAY!! I really quit planning since we were told about my dad. That went on for 4 weeks. Now I really need to get busy!
I love reading about all of the other DISers that will be at WDW at the same time we will be. I can't wait to come back and read all the trip reports. I hope everyone has a "Magical Trip".

My family's first trip Nov 28-Dec 3 can't wait AKL here we come!!

We have 6 weeks from today until we fly to Orlando and begin our trip. I get out of the hospital from having csec tomorrow. I got a fantastic rate on SWA tickets for our trip just yesterday (hours after my surgery,lol) Now everything is all paid for and I can now focus on all the little things to bring.
