I'm super excited. I just got the balance of our trip paid off today. It's official now...we're headed to the House of Mouse in 47 days!

When should I expect to start seeing DME stuff and package stuff (we booked a room and tickets together, air was booked on Expedia)?

Also, I need to call and give them my sisters flight info as she flies in on the 22nd (we fly in on the 21st), and I want her to be able to use the DME service rather than take a cab...can they do that...I guess it'd be a split reservation?

32 days....WOW!! It's sneaking up on me..starting to panic..how are you all packing for the December weather?! Has anyone really started packing? I have a bin of "things" I've picked up for the trip piled high but no real packing yet.

I can't believe that we are just over 4 weeks. We haven't started packing yet. I keep thinking that we have plenty of time but I am beginning to worry. I also need to get the Christmas shopping mostly finished. I told the kids that at 3 weeks out we would start the packing process. I keep waiting so I can look at the weather for Orlando. I don't want to pack a bunch of stuff that we don't need. I do much better under pressure so the real packing probably won't happen until the week before we leave. Of course, there will be last minute laundry to throw in.

Has anyone ordered the customized maps to ship to your house? I ordered on Oct. 14th and got my email that they shipped Oct. 23rd. I haven't received them yet. I would think that I should have them by now. They are free so I don't want to bother Disney for another week or so. I don't really need them for the trip but I was just excited to see them.

I had ordered the maps at the end of summer and it took about 4-6 weeks before I received them.

Twenty Five Days until Disney!!

Although I only have 12 days until I leave home! It's sneaking up on me. I have a two week vacation in Wisconsin first. I'm almost finished packing already! Can't wait!

eek I just realized we are going in 5 weeks. I have so much to do between now and then. I am in nursing school fulltime and have 6 tests to take between now and Dec 11 that is how I am measuring my time!!

but then I need to shop for the holidays and to shop for items for Disney, get the shirts made, pack, pet sitting arranged, make sure we have winter items in case its cold (it was 40 degrees on night last Dec!!)
