Official December 2008

I was wondering, how much is internet wifi at the resort? If it makes a difference, we are at AS movies. I have read a few different costs, so I was wondering what it really is.

WiFi is only available at "Convention" resorts, common areas. Mostly the Deluxe resorts.

There is internet access in every room via a network cable.

Internet at Disney World is $4.95 an hour or $9.95 a day.

We are due to drive out Dec 12th...flying out Dec 13th. DS's bday is the day we fly back, Dec 19th. So originally we figured to have his party the weekend before we leave. Dec 6th. Now, dh has brought up the issue of getting sick (a lot of people... kids that go to daycares), so we thought perhaps bumping it up to Nov 30th. If we were to get sick we have 2 weeks to recover.
Seriously, we aren't usually this anal about being sick. I know the kids will get sick and Im good with that. But with a 7 hour drive, then a long enough flight, and our wonderful vacation at DW... I don't want to risk getting sick.

On the other hand, we can get sick just about anywhere right?

Ugh, what to do!

What do you think we should do? The Santa Parade here is Sat Nov 29th...and then for people to come to our party on Sunday might be a lot for one weekend kwim? However, I do start the party at about 1130, have lunch a few games cake and presents and that is about it.

Totally conflicted, can you tell?? lol

You never know when you are going to get sick. You are around people everyday therefore exposed to germs everyday. You could have your party at any time and get sick the day you leave. You just don't know.
I would schedule the party at the most convenient time for you and your family. I think the most important thing is to make sure you are well rested when you head out on your drive to Maine.

We're going to Wilderness Lodge Dec 18 to Dec 23. Haven't decided about MVMCP yet.

We will be staying in the Wilderness Cabins from Dec. 17-21 our first time at the cabins. Two girls 9 y.o. and 13 y.o. going we can't wait!!!    Anyone else going then and staying in the cabins? I don't see anyone listed...seems strange. We can't wait to decorate with tree, lights, inflatables :thumbsup2 for the outside!

We leave in 27 days :cool1: :santa: :cool1:

But I just realized that although I've been obsessing over this trip for a year now, I really need to get started with some packing details and start making sure we have all our plans and things together. I can't believe we're finally under a month  :cool1: :cool1:

Down to 35 days here! We are leaving the day after my last college final and I can't wait! :woohoo: We've never been before during Christmas so we're extremely excited! :cool1:

You have a tough decision to make. I will have to tell you though, I was recently exposed to my cousin's youngest daughter when she had the stomach flu, well, it took almost 2 weeks to get me and I was down longer than usual. Any cold, flu, sick bug can sit dormant and hit at any time.

When we went to WDW for my birthday in June 2007, I was having issues with my allergies and was sick, but I don't even remember it bothering me much because I was at WDW.

You just have to do whatever is best for your family and hope for the best.

:dance3: 28 DAYS:dance3:

We received our customized maps yesterday!:yay: This weekend I need to get our list of stuff we need to take and see what I need to buy this week. We will start packing next weekend. I can't believe the time is almost here.

You never know when you are going to get sick.

Friends of ours were at a restaurant last night when she felt extreme pain! At the emergency room they discovered her colon had perforated and she is in surgery this morning. Things like this happen all the time.
