Im a little confused.... I just got our ME tickets in the mail. WHen do I get the resort packet?? or do I? I thought they all came together.

Hopefully someone can help me?We booked through a travel agent here in Edmonton so what papaerwork should I be getting from her?Will we get park tickets,hotel vouchers,ME stuff??Thanks for the help.It is 24 days till we leave so I want to make sure we have everything!

Has anyone ordered the customized maps to ship to your house? I ordered on Oct. 14th and got my email that they shipped Oct. 23rd. I haven't received them yet. I would think that I should have them by now. They are free so I don't want to bother Disney for another week or so. I don't really need them for the trip but I was just excited to see them.

this year when I ordered ours they came about a week after the email saying they had shipped... last year was a different story I ordered them, received an email saying they had shipped...waited 1, 2 , 3 then even 4 weeks and a couple emails asking about them...they never arrived and then they told me they sent another batch...again nothing...finally after they sent a third batch I finally got them...it was about 4 months after I had ordered them

Your agent should have your ME packet by now. Check with her.

Thanks I called her today but she said they had not arrived,not to panic and give her a call in a couple of weeks??!!!I hate leaving it that late if she does not receive them I hope we can still get to use ME...another thing to now stress about!

It took several weeks but they are well worth the wait. They are awesome. You can order them every 6 months so if you had the date in the customization you can reorder the next trip if it has been 6 months.

I would wait a couple days (not weeks) and call her again, and keep calling until you get them... if need be she should call and find out for you when to expect them

Thankyou so so much once again.It is weird because I feel like I am bugging them,since we booked our trip we have had three different travel agents dealing with us,so I have no idea what I need to have in my hand to go down to WDW with....First time trip and I am so not enjoying the fact I feel so lost.

We use a travel agent and the ME pack comes right from Disney but the vacation pack comes from the travel agent.

Call Disney and ask what's up, give them your home phone number and they will find your reservation.

It's been my experience that agents are as much in the dark as you are about stuff. I call Disney if I want to "Check up" on things.

But they can be clueless at times too "Don't worry, it's on the way"

Sometimes stuff comes by UPS or FEDEX, if they need to get it to you fast.

We are due to drive out Dec 12th...flying out Dec 13th. DS's bday is the day we fly back, Dec 19th. So originally we figured to have his party the weekend before we leave. Dec 6th. Now, dh has brought up the issue of getting sick (a lot of people... kids that go to daycares), so we thought perhaps bumping it up to Nov 30th. If we were to get sick we have 2 weeks to recover.
Seriously, we aren't usually this anal about being sick. I know the kids will get sick and Im good with that. But with a 7 hour drive, then a long enough flight, and our wonderful vacation at DW... I don't want to risk getting sick.

On the other hand, we can get sick just about anywhere right?

Ugh, what to do!

What do you think we should do? The Santa Parade here is Sat Nov 29th...and then for people to come to our party on Sunday might be a lot for one weekend kwim? However, I do start the party at about 1130, have lunch a few games cake and presents and that is about it.

Totally conflicted, can you tell?? lol

I have the same problem! My DS will turn 3 in the World. We leave the 11th and I have four birthdays that week! My DH, my grandmother and my father. So I need to fit in a 4 person party before we leave. I also have nursing finals the DAY we leave. There will be no concentrating on that! I'm just hoping it doesn't snow because my DH is picking me up from the test and we have a 2 hour drive straight to the airport!!!

Holy Smokers!! That is BUSY! lol I just really don't want to get sick... is it true that OJ and High vit C things warn off viruses?? I will pack it to all of us if that is the case. lol
We are up above Maine...so colder weather seems to bring on a lot of colds and the flu this time of year.
