Very new to this and I am totally into reading all your stories aand trying to get as much information to help with planning my wedding Jan 2nd 2009...
This is all a bit overwhelming as never been to any of the hotels/ restaurants but just love disney.....

I'm new to the boards and absolutely love the people here. I'm getting so many good ideas and information. Anyway, I'm getting married Dec 9, 2008 at Sea Breeze Point and then we're off to the Living Seas. I'm still debating a Dessert party, but I don' want to overload my all of 18 guests! We're waiting to sign our contract and then we'll be on our way!

I'm getting married December 2009! I can't wait! We couldn't get married this year because we are paying for the wedding ourselves and to have that extra year to save will really help. We're planning for SBP too. Anybody not getting married there? This board has been such a huge help in planning the wedding of my dreams! We're booked for the Wedding Pavillion December 4th at 12 pm
Only letdown is, cake cutting ceremony will be held at convention center due to refurbishing of Grand Floridean's main lobby

Hopefully doesn't feel to cold/big for an escape wedding, without additional decoration ! Anyone has been there???

They are refurbing the GF Lobby --- hope that doesn't interfere with my staircase shot!!! That is the one and only photo that I want!!! That is why we are staying at GF and reception is in Ballroom 4 @ GF and Pre-Reception @ Whitehall at GF!!!

I will cry!!!



PS!!! UPDATE UPDATE!! We get contract on Sunday and then Mom and I are driving the Orlando, Wednesday to drop it off and meet with Kristi....YAYAYAYA

We had a slight change of plans with my wedding... we decided we wanted a 5pm ceremony at SeaBreeze Point, so we've moved to 8 days earlier. Now we're getting married on December 1st at the Point. I've made all new reservations and awaiting my new contract (luckily hadn't signed the old one) and then we get the ball rolling... again. I am soooo excited!

I bought mine in DL - but don't recommend it. I came back form our trip and found a thread that same week about the bridal ears and found out that was one of the most expensive places to get them. I think some have ordered theirs online. I'd try a search - if the function works for you for a bridal ears thread it was just a couple of weeks ago. Otherwise I had originally planned on getting mine at the PS. But when I happened to be at DL I couldn't help myself. I'm so happy though because now I wear them when I start doing wedding stuff at home DF looks at me like I'm crazy but who cares it totally gets me in planning mode.

Unfortunately we're only there the first half of the month - for the most part we'll be there from the 1st (maybe even earlier) through the 15th. Well we won't actually be there from the 6th to the 13th we'll be honeymooning on DCL!
