Official Dancing With the Stars: Spring 2016

I "watch" every week, but I don't pay too much attention to everyone's dancing, so I'm no expert on the show, the judging, the pros, or the contestants. But I have been enthralled by Nyles. I didn't know until a couple of weeks ago who Ginger even was, nor did I know that Paige danced for MANY years when she was younger until they discussed her background recently. I'm not a big fan of "stars" with quite a bit of prior dance experience on the show. I never watched past the first episode of the season with the skater/DANCER because I knew she'd win. Ditto with Jennifer Grey. Not that I know Paige will win, but she has had a great advantage. All JMHO.

Which brings me to my questions...does Nyles have past dance experience? Ginger? And did Bindi Irwin last season? She was amazing, and I can't imagine that she did much dancing prior to the show but maybe she did?

Ginger does have some dZnce experience. She was on her college Dance Team which are the Pom-poms cheerleaders. You don't make the Poms team at Vanderbilt (sp? On my phone) with zero previous experience. It's all pretty hush-hush. IIRC, Bindi also has some ballet when she was little(er).

OK so I watched last night's episode again and have a few thoughts.. Paige and Mark did amazing no doubt about it but she has a significant dance background. I will be good if she wins and Nyle comes in second but I really think that Nyle deserves first place.. His free style was AMAZING, the music and piano and lighting.. All of it.. With that said- did anyone notice that Val said in the part before their freestyle that "we don't have pyrotechnics and splash, it is just us to keep the audience's attention, blah blah blah..: well what the heck was the street lamp, the fake rain, the gazebo scenery and orange sky images and lighting all around to go with the lyrics of the song etc..??? Not seeing a good side to Val this season.. Ginger better not win!

I really wish that all the "fluff" was removed from the last night. Just let me know who wins!
I'd love for Nyle to win, but I'd also be happy with Paige winning, but because I think Mark really deserves it. (does that even make sense?)

And what's all this love between Lara and Ginger? I heard a year or so ago that they were at odds with each other on GMA.

I thought it was Lara and Amy Rorbach that hated each other?
