A week later and I am still bitter about not getting to see a Wanya/Lindsay freestyle. LOL

All my votes will likely go to Paige tonight. Funny season for me, I mostly liked almost every single contestant but didn't really love anyone.

Argh!!!! GRRRR!!!! I am still so mad and disillusioned with this show. I haven't even wanted to post to this thread, let alone watch tonight & tomorrow. What I suspected turns out to be true after all. ABC has a new entertainment president: Channing Dungey. I had a feeling that is why the very clumsy and OBVIOUS vote changes of dropping Nyle's three scores of 10s to 9s, so that Ginger could be the first one to get perfect 10s on the show. And her subsequent 10s and too-high scores for her actual dancing ability.

Two Thursdays ago, ABC cancelled so many TV shows that day: Castle, Nashville and several others, that one TV entertainment blog/site nicknamed the day, "Bloody Thursday."

We know that the Network has already been scrutinizing their two morning shows and decided to cannibalize Live with Kelly & Michael and move Michael permanently to GMA.

So, I think when the head guy was watching GMA and saw how Ginger was talking about being on DWTS and realized what a perfect advertisement she is for DWTS and while on DWTS, for GMA, that's when he put his hands all over DWTS and TOLD the producers Ginger is going to be in the Finals. And they and the judges are having to do whatever to comply, no matter how clumsy and obvious it looks.

Has anyone else noticed that Tom said the voting had changed last week? That people could vote during the show and ALL THIS PAST WEEK for their favorite stars. GIVING Ginger six more GMA shows to advertise and rack up fans & voters ON A NATIONAL NETWORK SHOW, (that according to another poster here, has 5 million viewers.) Meanwhile Paige & Nyle only have their own web pages/blogs, Twitter, FB & Instagram, etc., (that Ginger ALSO has.) Hardly the 5 million viewership to rally votes from for a week.

So even if when Ginger wins, we will never know if the head of ABC (and the DWTS producers) decided that outcome, or if the new voting was enough to garner Ginger the win. . . which is exactly what they are hoping for.

Think about it. I remember when Whoopi Goldberg won the Academy Award, she said one of the perks that goes along with that win is that forever before her name will be the title, "Academy Award Winner, Whoopi Goldberg."

While winning the DWTS mirror ball is not quite the prestigious honor, whenever GMA announces Ginger each day to do the weather, and especially during subsequent seasons of DWTS, they can always announce her as "GMA's very OWN "DWTS Mirror Ball winner, Ginger Zee." It doesn't quite have the cachet to say, "GMA's very OWN "DWTS finalist, Ginger Zee." She might even become GMA's resident DWTS reporter. Is ABC and the new head guy really going to let that opportunity to further advertise DWTS on GMA pass?

I think Ginger is rigged to win.

It's their show, their network. They can do what ever they want. But, don't make this appear to be an actual "competition show," where the VIEWERS actually get a hand in voting for the winner.

Oh yes, that's another thing with my Rant. (No, I'm not done yet. )

Getting rid of Wanya. Someone else mentioned that they don't think Paige gets a lot of votes or has a lot of fans outside of her fight fans.

We DO know that boy band fans number in the thousands. And probably, if one is a fan of one boy band, they will rally and vote for a fellow boy band. So, in my conspiracy theory that the Head of ABC has determined Ginger the winner, AND the DWTS producers had to comply. They had to get rid of Ginger's only REAL competition for votes: Wanya. When he slipped on that bandana, it was the luckiest break for ABC to eliminate him (even if he had enough fan votes that week.)

YES, and it gives her a much needed EXCUSE as to WHY she isn't as good dancing as the other two - who are MUCH better dancing than she is.

They've got ALL the bases covered.

Ginger's dancing FIRST, which I had a feeling she would. This way if she messes up, the judges can vote Paige & Nyle down accordingly, looking for "mistakes" they make, so Ginger gets the highest votes throughout the night.

Ginger is not my favorite and I do believe there is definitely an advantage with her being an ABC "star" but I don't hate her the way most of you seem to. I still believe she is getting the advantage of Val votes. I adore Val and I imagine there are many who agree and voted for Ginger to keep Val around.

I also like Paige. The fact that she has a huge advantage of dance given her parents and cheerleading background and she seems to have an edge that the others don't have.

My votes will still go to Nyle.

Aaaaand the downgrading of Nyle's dance starts... really??? "You lost a bit of sync there in the corner for a brief second"... after Ginger practically walked through her routine and clutched at her back more than once, and LEN of all people gave her a 10?!? Come on!!!!
