I just got back from watching this show for only the first or second time. I normally watch Strictly Come Dancing every week and I have to tell you folks who have never seen it that SCD is head and shoulders above DWTS. DWTS throws in so much extra crap (Dr. Drew? Come on!!) it was practically unwatchable. Plus, SCD has a danceoff with the bottom 2 instead of just eliminating them. Len is also a good guy, I never heard him get booed before.
My wife watches them both, if I'm lucky I'll miss the rest of these. Just my opinion.

It was driving me crazy I couldn't figure it out. I knew it was to some TV show or movie. I thought The Avengers at first, but that wasn't it.

Taking up for Edyta here....I don't think that Cody had a bad partner. He has bonded with Julienne. She and Edyta have different dancing styles, different teaching methods, different heights. Having to switch partners mid season is tough. It wouldn't matter who substituted for Julienne, Cody would have had a rough time. Anyone would have a rough time.

I think that Edyta is a very good dancer and she is a good teacher, but I stand by my previous comment that her choreography is all about her.

I don't think that she showcases her partners enough and draws attention to herself instead with plenty of kicks and flourishes and flying around. Sorry, I can't seem to explain what she does but it seems like she is almost dancing by herself with her partner as a prop to hold her as she does one "look at me!" move after another. I thought for a while it was because she was trying to "cover up" for partners who just don't have the right stuff (and she has had a few!), but I changed my mind.

Obviously she did well last season with Jason and previously with Joey Lawrence (who I LOVED) but I saw the same "look at me!" choreography with those partners as well. As a comparison, look at Julianne & Helio or Cheryl & Emmit. IMO, neither Helio or Emmit were the best dancers in the final 3, but their partners showcased them and brought the best out in them. I just can't say the same for Edyta.

BTW, I agree about Julianne. I hope she didn't pull out at stitches or something.

I kept waiting for blood to start appearing all along that white outfit. She and Derek dance amazingly together.

I am very glad that Maurice was gone over Cody.

When I had my appendix out, I had no stitches, they did it laparascopically. And I was fine to do everything in 2 weeks, the only restriction I had at all was no lifting over 5 pounds the first week. I had it out on a Thursday and was at work on Monday.

She and Derek do dance well together. I was not surprised to see Maurice go, Cheryl admitted that they, or at least she was in it more for fun than the competition, And even though Maurice was good, he wasn't getting any better, so I think she probably had the right idea with that.

Next week is going to be interesting.

I am so glad to see that Cody gets another week. Edyta is good but I agree that is more about her than her partner. Her flips and leg lifts are about her not who she is dancing with.

I just love love love Derek, when he and Julianne were dancing together I mean they were just amazing.

Lacey and her brother were good but no offense to those that like Lacey, you can really see the difference when you watch Derek and Julianne.

I think that the final two will be Kym and Warren and Derek and Brooke.

I am truly enjoying it this year, really wasn't a big fan of any of the celebs but I love watching the professionals!

I'm so torn now! I love the elegance of Brooke and Derek, the freshness of Lance and Lacey, and the fun and carefree style of Warren and Kym and Cody and Julianne!

I do think Brooke and Derek will take it though.

Anyone else have a hard time with the feathers on Lacey's butt this week? Drove me nuts!!!

I think Lacey and her brother were trained with a different emphasis than Derek and Julianne. I think Derek is such a hottie, and I am old enough to be his grandmother!

I like all of the remaining contestants now (and the pros). I am glad it came down to these four, but I really don't know who to root for or root against. This is the first season I haven't had a clear favorite.

I don't have a "clear" favorite either (ok maybe Cody), but from strictly at dancing standpoint I think it's clear at Brooke has everyone beat
