Finally getting to watch the show. Here are my thoughts:
Susan Lucci: I think she's just so stiff. This is such a fun and fluid dance, but she seemed like too much of a petite flower.
Lance Bass: I think if they stick to following the rules, yet adding flair when it's called for, they can win. Lance is a great dancer. I still don't like Lacey. I agreed with Carrie Ann, a good mix of traditional and modern.
Maurice: These fast fun dances are his thing. He isn't a great dancer, but he does well and is obviously having fun.
Rocco: Enough of the gimmicks. The blindfold thing was stupid. I think he lacks rhythm. He just clods around out there.
Warren: I really need to stop reading all the rumors on TMZ about what a jerk he's being, because it's making it hard for me to judge him fairly. He is a very smooth dancer and much lighter on his feet than you would expect. You can also tell he wants to win. (Go Bucs!)
Cody Linley: He really does a great job of doing the dance and entertaining. I hope he goes far. He just seems like such a sweet kid. The leg thing was too much, but that wasn't his problem, it was her choreography.
Toni: I think I would have preferred a standard waltz. It was too jerky and not smooth.
Cloris: I think it's great that she tries to do a cartwheel or anything at her age. But it's her time to go. It's just getting painful to watch Corky swing an old lady around the dance floor. Though it was still better than Marie Osmond's freaky doll dance.
Brooke: She is very beautiful and graceful. Ok, as a mom to two girls, I got all teary eyed when she kissed her little girl. I think it's great how much she pushes herself to do something out of her comfort zone.
Misty - That looked and sounded so painful! I really liked her and wish she could have stayed. And Maks.
I still hope they get rid of someone (Cloris) and find another way to make up that lost show (more Maks.)
