Britney Spears danced with a yellow boa constrictor (named Banana) draped across her shoulders/arms to her song "I'm a Slave For You" at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001. It is a pretty iconic moment for late 90s and early 2000s teens. Britney was at the highest point in her popularity.

Yup-I'm 27 and I absolutely think of that dance as iconic...that was all anyone could talk about for months after the vmas

Me! I always enjoy the opening numbers but this one was exceptionally fun!

Wasn't to bad. It kills me he didn't know Grease, well it makes me feel old.

Why in the world do they put the guest judge next to Bruno? So they can get hit in the head when he goes off being overly-excited?

we should have a drinking game based on the number of times Leah says 'amazing'. Just watching her first bit with Hayes and Emma would have me done for the night. I'll give her a chance, but learn a new word.

I think the snake was drugged like Tom made a "joking" reference to.

Bindi probably would have noticed right away and we would have seen it in her eyes as she walked up to pet the snake.

That's what I was saying last week: So CODEPENDENT! (On the producers' part.) They have separate identities. But the producers make it seemed like they are conjoined twins.

Honestly I think that was my least favorite dance from Bindi, but that isn't saying a lot since I've loved her since the first one! I'm surprised nobody commented on the shaky lift-I'm sure its incredibly hard and I'm glad they did it, but it made me nervous for a few seconds!
