Official Dancing with the Stars - All Stars

If this was true "All-Stars" they should all be first place winners. Why isn't Brooke dancing?
I really wish that Brooke was dancing ... just so she would have to step away from the microphone and hand it over to Carson.

One down, one to go.

Unfortunately, I don't think the other one will go until much later in the season. Heck, she'll probably make it to the finals again. The same people who kept her in last time will be up to their old tricks. Predictable.

I'm going to bet that Drew will be the next cast-off. Anna is just too unlikeable. After that it might be Kelly or Melissa. They don't have the fan base to push them along.

I'm out. I just don't think this All Star season works. Either really showcase first place winners or call it past contestants. Lol

It's a shame they have someone like Kristi in the audience while Bristol dances.

yes... but it is probably difficult to get the "first choice" stars all participating in the same DWTS season. Most have other commitments. The 1st placers were most likely asked but some declined the offer while others accepted.

I agree that Drew could be next. Last night I thought the bottom three might be Melissa, Drew and Pam.

I think Kelly will go kind of far. She is a decent dancer and has soap fans voting for her.

I think Joey and Kym and Sabrina and Louis could be in danger kind of early (ie before Bristol).

I don't think they will be able to pull their same old tricks after ABC filled that giant hole which allowed people to vote hundreds of times with fake emails. However, I do think she'll stick around for a while because the popularity of her shimmy :hyper:.

She shimmies??? I didn't notice.

I agree that Sabrina could find herself in trouble. People didn't vote for her the first time around and that is why she went home "early". I also don't really believe that she was the one voted on by the fans. I think it is much more likely that Kyle was the one people voted for, but they brought back Sabrina for the added drama of how she was sent home far too early.

I think people are fooling themselves if they honestly believe that people had nothing better to do than created over 100 emails to vote for Bristol Palin. She got the votes to keep her in. Personally, I liked watching her improve from week to week. As is, I like her more than some of the other stars just based on personality alone. I think she's a little sweetheart.

After watching her reality show, the last thing I'd call her is sweet.

People didn't create email addresses (which is now required) but when they voted and put in bogus email addresses in order to vote hundreds of times. They bragged about it. It was after Bristol's season that ABC added checks to make sure that the email address entered really exists.

Thing is, I was so bored on Monday. There was little anticipation of wondering who was going to be good and who was going to have a lot of room for improvement. There are few stars that I am excited about, some that I just plainly do not like, and then most I am completely indifferent about. I still haven't watched the results show. I really don't like the results show. I think it should be 30 minutes. There is no need for an hour long show to say hot dancer and C list celebrity have been kicked off. And then they made it 2 hours? No thank you.

I'm enjoying Shawn Johnson and I'm hoping that Bristol will improve. I'm ready for Sabrina to go home. None of those three, though, have enough pull to have me watch it in real time. I figure I'm going to DVR the show and watch it in about 30 minutes Tuesday morning.

Actually, Bristol came in third her season. Melissa Rycroft also came in third. Sabrina was voted off week six. Pamela Anderson left in week 7.

To compare, Kirstie, Joey Fatone, and Gilles all finished second. Kelly, Helio, Shawn, Emmitt, Drew, and Apollo are the first place finishers. So, technically, there are more "fan favorites" than runners up and Pam and Bristol aren't the only two in that category.

I stand corrected. I hadn't realized how many weren't second place runner-ups. :teacher: :goodvibes

She was the jilted Bachelorette, but she also is a correspondent for Good Morning America, and also had a short-lived reality show with her husband and daughter.

And she came to the rescue fot DWTS when another celebrity had to bow out on a Friday the weekend before the show started so I would cut her a break. She literally quit her job, flew in and learned a number in a weekend that the others had gotten three weeks for.

Liz

Melissa was also a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, even before The Bachelor. (Or another football team.)

I agree....I was shocked that Kyle or Carson didn't win. Kyle was a better dancer, but Carson has a huge fan base. I wonder too, if they just needed another woman and/or needed Louis to be the pro dancer used. Although I have to admit, I would have LOVED to see Carson and Louis paired together, even though I know ABC wouldn't do that.

I am glad that Pam was eliminated. She just didn't dance well, and seemed out of it. It was almost as if she was on something. (both nights, actually)

I wonder what made producers choose Pam, there have been so many other stars that were well liked.

Kyle Massey was so good, why didn't they cast him and not bother will spacey Pam?

I don't think she brings ratings to the show at all.
Her 15 minutes were way back in the 90's.

I agree. If they had brought back Kyle & Carson instead of Pamela and Bristol, this show would be far different. While Carson is not as good of a dancer as the rest, he is hilariously entertaining and would have gotten far on that, AND he'd still have a chance to improve. AND he knew how to out-shine Anna and her narcissism. So, he'd last for several weeks on those merits.

Kyle has been steadily dancing since, and can often be seen dancing with the DWTS ensemble dancers, so he'd be in the same league as the former winners.

Either one would have severely affected the outcome of each episode. Like Drew might have been the first one out last night instead of Pamela. OR, depending on who got Anna -- if Carson got her again instead, a totally different person may have been gone home. Overall, there would have been more suspense as all the stars would be at more evenly competitive levels.

The right person went home last night.

It should not have been a 2 hour show. The first hour seemed like an endless advertisment for whatever the stars are doing now. :confused3

I thought I saw Kristi in the audience Monday night and I thought the same thing, why isn't she dancing?

Maybe they had scheduling conflicts.

There were many former contestants in the audience. I oounted at least 11. It makes you wonder how they came up with ones they did. It had to be ones who had no scheduling conflicts. Although, I can't imagine that Florence Henderson and Chloris Leachman are THAT busy these days. They were probably available.

I was really hoping Donny Osmond would have come back.:lovestruc

Donny does a show with Marie. I think they are still in Las Vegas. I saw them when they did a Christmas show on Broadway a couple years ago.

Just a reminder, Drew and Pamela WERE the bottom two. We have NO IDEA, where the others stand.

i was telling DD15 this same thing tuesday night. there are SO many anna haters out there (i don't much like her myself), that drew's chances of making it past week 3 or 4 aren't very good. the fact that HE is so likeable might earn him an extra week or two.

My daughter and I saw Donny & Marie last year in Las Vegas. They had one of the most entertaining shows I have EVER seen. Funny moments, sad moments, you name it. If you get a chance to see them, I would definately recommend it!;)
