Official California Grill Open ADR Watch Thread

I was hoping to get a Sept. 11th ADR, but my chances look dimmer and dimmer with each delay. Looks like I will just be happy with my backup ADR for Flying Fish!

My df and I are in the process of finalizing details for our DFTW on September 27th and were hoping to have a mini reception at California Grill following the ceremony. Our wedding planner told us that they were told California Grill was likely going to start taking reservations in mid to late July. She said there is no definite yet as it is still a moving target but that is when she expects it to happen. She seemed to expect it to be open by the Sept. 27th for sure.

Will only be there for 5 days in Nov-coming in on the 7th,leaving on the 12th,so I'm pretty sure I won't be able to squeeze in. I don't have much luck when it comes to these things.My timing is always off. BUT, DH & I are returning in February,so I'm hoping we can get a table then. So, I'm one of those "lurkers" here,always hanging around.......

Awesome, I am so happy to hear it will open in early September. I am so hoping to get a reservation on October 17th for my 23rd birthday, my parents and uncle will be visiting me while I am working on the WDW College Program!

I actually just graduated with an Accounting and Business Administration degree in May! I know it seems unrelated to doing the program, but I figure Disney is one of the most successful businesses in the world, right? I would love to work on the professional/Corporate Finance side of Disney one day, but for now the CP just seems like an experience I can't pass up!

I've talked to people from majors all across the board doing this program, from arts & sciences to business and more. Your son should really consider applying!

I am watching this thread very closely, as CG is our favorite restaurant and to go without getting to experience it after the new renovation would put a damper on the entire trip. We already missed out on BOG. Going in December.
