For what it's worth, the CM I talked to this morning said to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for a possible announcement about when reservations would open up at California Grill.

Subbing to this thread. I would LOVE to get an ADR for Dec 23rd for my DD's birthday - we are staying at BLT. Dunno if that is asking too much since it sounds like everyone else is going to jump on CG when it opens!

Disney Parks Blog is where they made the announcement for BOG too. For BOG they made the announcement a few days in advance on Disney Parks Blog, then opened up ADR's for the first few days via phone only. Some people waited hours to get through. Hopefully if that is how it is going to work for CG it won't be quite as bad as the BOG experience.

I "Liked" their Facebook page. When I looked at the website and the posts on FB they were up to date.

Just thought I would let everyone know I heard an interview on another Disney Podcast with Head Chef Brian and he said that the restaurant will open either the first or second week of September

can't wait, YES I was one who waited over an hour on hold for BOG ressies for last year and will do it again for California Grill for our Nov trip if they open up on phone lines first, it was worth it,
I cannot get BOG again for this trip so glad I waited on hold last year and we already experienced it
