Official California Grill Open ADR Watch Thread

from a TA who spoke to a CM this week--whatever "late summer" means. (I.e., keep checking every day . We're hoping for first week in November (specific night with a pretty full itinerary to max the fun for our DDs--first on-property WDW stay in many years and last before college calls our wallets--who don't know we're going yet). Citrico is our backup.

Called this afternoon and was told no reservations can be made...and they won't be available until they fully open the restaurant.

My trip is the first week of December. I am doing a reservation for Artist Point, as I have not eaten there before, but would switch to Cal Grill if it opens up. It would be my "official" birthday celebration dinner.

Ginnerd, that's our plan as well! I've never eaten at either but want to see wishes at Cali grilled for our anniversary I think it suns like artists point is a great alternative thgh

We just booked our trip for 9/7 -9/14 and when we checked for open ressies for CG the CM told us that there were dates for November that could be booked but nothing earlier yet. So all you Nov. peeps may want to give it a try. Good Luck!

we booked an ADR at Artist Point as well as the back-up if Cali Grill doesn't open in time. We were first going to do Flying Fish but couldn't get a table for 10 there, but got one at Artist Point and will look to do the Firework Wagon Ride afterwards leaving from Fort Wilderness vs. watching Wishes from the CG pavillion

I just made my ADRs for our December trip today and wasn't able to book Cali grill for November 29. The CM said that she couldn't book it.

I did all my ADRs yesterday for my 180+10 and nothing was open for November 29-December 8. I called DD and was told that nothing was loaded into the system yet and they had no further info. Hoping to get there on our anniversary trip!

Are you calling or just checking online? It's weird that online it doesn't say there isn't anything available, instead it says to call the 407-WDW-DINE number.

I only checked online today. Where does it say to call 407-WDW-DINE? The page I am looking at doesn't say that it shows the following statement in red "As part of our continuing efforts to exceed the expectations of our Guests, California Grill is currently closed for enhancements. Please check back here for the latest updates and information about when it will reopen."

I tried looking on the My Disney Experience app and it says to call or search for another time. It didn't have that other verbiage about the rehab.

Hopefully ADRs will open up soon and all of us here on this thread will have luck!

I tried this morning and nothing is showing for Cali grill. Apparently, they just haven't released bookings yet.

As of last night at about 7 pm, according to the CM I spoke to at Disney Dining, Cali Grill reservations are not open yet and she did not know when they would.
