I was able to check the venue tonight from the 20th until the 23rd. No bookings have been made for those dates (which is weird because I thought for sure I'd checked Monday night and those nights were wide open for reservations.)

I will be off until Sunday, but will check back then and keep you all posted with updates.

That is so strange. I checked and you are correct, the 18th is available. However, the 19th and 20th, when I am there, are not available.(neither are the 16th and 17th). And when I called WDW-DINE to try and book Cali Grill, the agent told me that they are unable to book anything yet! Strange.

Called DD this morning. No we don't know when it will take reservations, no we don't know why it's only accepting the 18th of November, no we don't know when the opening date is, we know nothing, no one tells us anything...

The DIS has long served the role of providing information that Disney employees cannot or will not provide. I cannot estimate the amount of valuable info that I've gotten from these Bds. over the years. Let's band together on this CG ressie issue. I want an October ADR and I need these Bds. to help me get it!

I'm going to have to take a step forward here and respond to this directly. As I've stated previously in this thread, I've personally taken action and called DRC Help about this and various other opportunities others have experienced recently with CG and BOG.

The reservations have not been loaded into the system yet at this point. I just called this evening and spoke to DRC Systems directly.

I get really tired of defending Disney Dining on this board. The Cast Members DO have the resources available. Please be aware that some of them are new and are learning the ropes. Also, encourage them to reach out to management or DRC Systems for a concrete answer.

I will continue to update this thread as I gain information in the future.

Thanks, Gawrsh!! Just for giggles, I tried again this morning for November 11 or November 15 and, again, no luck. Oh well. I'll just try again in a few more days. In the meantime, no worries. The booking window will eventually open, and I'll be watching for when it does.

I just opened the latest edition of Disney Files (magazine for Disney Vacation Club members) and there is an article on CG. It states CG will open late summer, so maybe there is still hope for those of us looking for September and October ressies.

Hopeing for a Sept. 14 reservation. It's my wife's favorite restaurant at WDW and it's her birthday.

Fiancee and I will be on our honeymoon 9/29-10/12 hoping for ADRs to open up during that time frame. We got engaged there last May and would love to have another romantic evening while we're there.

Yeah! So excited hoping for an 11/10 res, my husband and I get to go ALONE. If we want to see the fireworks what time do you guys recommend? Would 8 be good?

We are having a pool/ resort day the next day so being out late is ok. Can you tell I have little kids? Lol. Right now I have an artists point res for 8 in case I don't get Cali. Do you guys really call every day? I need to start...their automated system takes sooooo long it's abit of a bother
