Official California Grill Open ADR Watch Thread

There was someone in the CR thread who said they had November reservations, this was about three weeks ago, so of course I called. No luck unless I wanted one of those dates in November, which I didn't

Yes we did! Why do I feel like it's not going to happen. This is all very weird.

They may be doing something with the online reservations, as California Grill isn't even listed on their website this morning!

Uh, yeah, today is my 180+10, and I can't get in to make even the non-popular ADRs. Something is effed with their system--I'll be calling in about 15 mins hoping to get all that I wanted!

My 180 days is in 2 days. I agree with PP that it doesn't make any sense to take ADRs until they have a firm opening date, a menu, and firm seating charts.

I had an ADR for Bistro de Paris back in October, and then much, much later than 180 days, they closed to turn into Monsieur Paul and they cancelled the ADRs, and thank goodness I was able to make an ADR at Flying Fish, but it is much tougher to change plans around once you have everything set.

I just looked at the booking site for California Grill and it is DOWN with page not found. I don't know if that means anything, but I thought I would report it.

I tend to think the info on reservations opening up will appear on Disney Blog first.

I called this morning because it is our 180 day mark and was told that since no official opening date, they are not taking ADR's yet. CM advised me to keep checking back or check the Disney Park Blog for an opening date.

Reservations must be coming soon because my wedding coordinator contacted me and said while they are not accepting general reservations yet, but they are accepting reservations for their two private rooms! We ended up booking the smaller of the private rooms for our reception dinner on Sept. 27, 2013. I don't think they would have allowed us to do that without being pretty darn sure they were going to be open by then.

How exciting-that's the day we are hoping to get booked for our 23rd anniversary dinner!! Nothing would make me happier than to be there for our anniversary ...hoping they open up the ADRs soon for the rest of us, looks like a good sign

Just got off the phone with a CM. She said they actually had a meeting this morning and the chef was there. They should be opening up reservations within the next 10 to 14 days!

So cool that she told me cause she didn't even know I was waiting to book CG!

I hope this is true!!! I really cannot wait until they open I am really interested in what the new menu is... I think I'm gonna eat here twice on my next trip!!!

I just called dining reservations to see if anything had opened yet. The CM was very helpful, and said they are being told that reservations should be open by the end of the month, within a week or two, so to keep checking every day!
