Official BREAKFAST BOG Lookout Post

Rumor from a reservations CM (i know, real reliable, right?) says that after Feb 23 BOG lunch will be ADR. I also heard a rumor that Elsa made an appearance at Akershus Princess breakfast.

Pure speculation follows:

1) Elsa and Anna take over Akershus breakfast.
2) Belle joins Beast at BOG for breakfast.

Just some thoughts how this all might play out....seems plausible.....

I would not count on there being characters present for a $10 breakfast.

I agree at $10 a plate, I do not expect to see characters at a BOG breakfast. It would take too many people away from the Royal table which they charge a small fortune for. It would not suprise me though if they make it family served breakfast in the future add characters and charge $40 for the priveledge of eating there.

This would be perfect! It would ease the worry of getting that oh so coveted FP for Anna & Elsa!

Allears confirmed lunch will now be adr, but said you can order food 30 days out like the fastpass system. Really hoping that means you are seated once you enter, not like the fastpass nonsense of a bridge line (preorder line vs no preorder) so that even if you preordered you still have to line up inside just to confirm your order and then jockey for a seat. If I am making an adr, I want to walk in, be guided to a seat unless I have changes to make to my order, have my food come out and pay when done like a restaurant. Everything they do to improve this place seems to make it more of a hassel. Dinner maybe hard to get, but it is so nice not to have two lines, kiosk ordering where people act like they have never seen a computer before and then fight to sit

That was part of the speculation....price increase to normal character bfast prices...I am sure Disney will be looking at how popular the BOG breakfast is

I see it listed as Breakfast QSR on the MDE dining reservation drop-down (no availability, of course) but the menu price for every item is $19.99. I think the prices showing right now may be placeholders (at least, I hope so) but maybe it will be quick service service for breakfast. The items look right for the theme so hopefully it won't be too long until we find out for certain! :).

I would love for BOG to go to a character meal for breakfast as well. Or even just a photo op with the Beast after lunch or Breakfast. I think going to an ADR all day system would take away a lot of the craziness.

On Wednesday what time can you make the BOG lunch reservation would it be 6am online ????

I doubt with lunch being QS that there will be reserved seating with a host to guide you.

Does anyone think the breakfast option will begin on Feb 25th when you can start making reservations on-line?

I'm confused. So does this mean we'll be able to book breakfast on the 25th as well as lunch? That'll be a hot mess!

$20 for a counter service breakfast? I know it's BOG, but still.......This is almost as much as many of the dinner entrees!

Separate question - hours say 8 - 10 am. Does that mean you get early park entry if you have an ADR for breakfast? I know we're all speculating at this point, but maybe that would be worth $20?!

It really works quite well. The point of an ADR at CS lunch is that Disney is going to avoid that mess that FP+ was making when folks were trying to book lunch there. I'll make that ADR if possible just to make sure I have it, rather than trying to stalk theat silly website for a FP, or waiting for an email, and then getting chastised by people who did not know about the website.

OK--- So, I totally understand that its WDW--- we are AP holders, (and live in NYC!!) and are used to paying high prices for meals (and spending money in Disney) .... that being said--- these prices are insane !!!

Those prices wouldn't be crazy IF you could do a photo op with Belle and Beast together.... I would LOVE another breakfast option at MK. Hoping there will be real news (vs. rumors) with details soon.....
