I thought I would give an update on our b-day surprise for my daughter.
Our trip was from Feb. 9-17 and included one night at the Beach Club, 4 nights on the Disney Wonder and 3 nights at Pop Century. Her "actual" birthday was Feb. 15.
We decided not to get a cake this time around because we were doing a few very expensive surprises for her.
We did one surprise every hour on the hour from 6am-11pm.
Here are the hourly surprises and a few pictures ... more pictures will follow in a separate post.
6am: Birthday shirt & room decorated
7am: Gift from big sister (movie "The Game Plan)
8am: Breakfast at Cinderellas castle
9am: Slipper dessert at Cinderellas castle
10am: Horseback riding at Ft. Wilderness (this was the highlight of the day for her!)
11am: Card from her Great Grandma who is 102 years old!
Noon: Card & gifts from Grandma
1pm: Card from her teacher
2pm: Card from her Aunt, Uncle & cousins
3pm: Surprise gift from one of our family friends who traveled with us
4pm: Video message and card from her 2 best friends from home
5pm: Dinner at Coral Reef with diver & personalized menu (see picture below)
6pm: Still at dinner this surprise was the gift basket we arranged
7pm: Surprise from the other family friend we traveled with
8pm: Video & card signed by everyone at our church
9pm: Epcot shopping spree - up to $50 total
10pm: Gift & letter from Dad

Obviously I had to arrange quite a bit of this with family & friends before we left home, but DD felt SO special all day long and I'm sure it is a birthday she will always remember.
The personalized menu at Coral Reef...
Her build your own sundae dessert with chocolate Happy Birthday message (the chocolate was her favorite part

)
Here is the birthday cake she was given on our last night's dinner on the cruise...
I don't want to make this post too long, so more pictures coming in the next post.
