Steppdaddy-A few pages back I posted what I found to be available directly from AKL. We're getting a Mickey head cake in our room upon arrival. This will send my boys over the edge as they love treats and surprises!!!

I don't recall the cost and they're including a "peanut friendly" snack for DS4 after we discover if he can have their cake or not. (I know it's not garunteed peanut free but he gerenally does fine with cake mixes so long as there's not actual peanuts or peanut oil in the cake)
As for our Sept trip, I need some help please!!

I took a ressie at GFC (after our CM was magically cancelled for us) for lunch on 9/18. I've already called GF and spoke with Linda about a custom cake. She started out very snippy-wanting to know what I meant by "custom" (to which I answered not one that you can walk up and get at the podium). Once we were on the same page, her mood totally changed and she was amazingly helpful. She did tell me that all they had was the 8" white or chocolate cake. I pressed (knowing they can do much more) and told her I needed a birthday cake for a 4 year old.
Here's what I've got so far: 8" white cake with white chocolate gnache (sp?) frosting (I think-it's white cake and white frosting-she did not say buttercream!!!). This cake is $32. I initally wanted the castle on it with an additional $15 cost. I decided to do a Cars theme with "Happy Birthday Dan and Corbin". I also ordered a mini castle cake for DMIL and I believe the plate will say "Have a Magical Time". Perfect or so I thought....
Should I change the order to the mini dome cake thing (Mickey head shaped thing( for the boys (DH, DS4 and DS1) and mini castle cake for me and DMIL or should I leave it as is???
We're getting a custom cake at the Coral Reef as well...I don't know what to do now...

Who knew I'd spend my afternoon worrying if I chose the right cake!

I can't ask DH or DMIL for advice as it's a surprise! If I leave the 8" cake order here, I'm going to change the Coral Reef cake to a Nemo design instead of Cars.
Ok guys...thoughts are welcome and appreciated!
