Hi!

I ordered a cake a couple weeks ago to be delivered to OKW for our anniversary. Everything was great!

They will only deliver cakes here after 5pm and they leave it in the refrigerator.

I wanted the cake to be like the one we had for our wedding; it was a 10 inch vanilla cake, vanilla butter cream frosting and white chocolate filing.

I have pics that I will add when we get home it is very similar to the cake posted on page 4/post 54.

We're going to be having breakfast at CRT during our stay and I just think it's the most perfect place to have this done.

Do you think they would do this at breakfast? There is never a bad time for chocolate and strawberries IMO :)

I requested a cake for DSs 9th birthday at WC. They told me it would be a 6 inch cake for $15 (I think). Does anyone have a picture or description of the 6 inch cake? Are they any good or should I order a different cake for him? If I should order a cake, where would I order it from to have at WC with dinner?

Thanks! :cake:

We had our dd's 12th birthday breakfast at CRT this past Feb. and we ordered the slipper dessert at breakfast. It was wonderful & she loved it! Here's a picture:

I would like to get a sml. cake to celebrate our DS's 21st birthday. His birthday is actually in October but our trip in Dec to America/Canada is his birthday gift.Part of the trip is a week at WDW.
Our first night at WDW will be at LTT but I don't see that on the list on the first page. Does anyone know if a cake can be arranged there and if so how do I arrange this and how do I find out which cakes are available?
And will they actually do a cake so long after his birthday? I guess as long as you are paying for it they don't really care :rotfl: but do you think it is appropriate to request this?

Oh my gosh....I am so excited. I had to swap around some ADRs for our trip next week. In the process, we lost our ADR for the tea. All in all, though, none of us really care about that. However, I had planned to have a mini castle cake delivered for my daughter's 18th birthday at that ADR. So, I called the Boardwalk to get something for our Spoodles night instead. Well....
they are able to do a JONAS BROTHERS cake!!! Oh my goodness...she will be THRILLED. To say that she  those boys is a gross understatement. That will just really quick off the anticipation for her attending their concert back in Georgia just a few weeks after our return. The lady said it would be a scanned image on a standup thing. (I figure like the white chocolate stand ups that we've seen on the original cake thread.) I don't really care as long as THE BOYS (as I call them) are on it. I'll post pics when we return!

We are going to be there for Christmas and I was thinking of having a cake special made. I'm just not sure WHERE to have it. we are having brunch at Chef Mickey's on Christmas Day, so that might be a good option, or do you think it will be too confusing on a special day like that? The other option is to have it sent to Tutto Italia for our lunch on Christmas Eve. Could we do that? What would you do? Which do you think would have the best options?

Thanks,

Bianca

We will be staying at Fort Wilderness during our trip. We leave in 7 days yeah!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I had planned on ordering a cake for my son upon our arrival because his birthday is not until the next week. Do they deliver cakes to Fort Wilderness or will I have to go somewhere and pick it up? Also if I call now and order it do I pay over the phone now or when I pick it up?

THanks for all your help!!

Frances

I don't know about delivering a cake, guess you could call and find out. But I do want to let you know what we did for my ds on his 5th birthday while staying at Fort Wilderness. I purchased a gift ahead of time, wrapped it and then dropped it by checkin and asked if a cm could bring it by the camper. We arranged a time and a CM brought the present along with a balloon and a cirthday card from Mickey. He was very surprised.

Call the hotline number. There will be a choice for Magic Kingdom restaurants. Then you will talk to someone who can help you order what size you want. You can tell them it is for a b-day celebration. When I ordered for my dd they did not ask when her b-day was. They do not care as long as you are paying for the cake. My dd celebrates her b-day every year and it is not on her actual birthday. We do not try to rake in free items but will buy her a cake each year.

Anyone have any pics of Christmas themed cakes??? :santa: Would love some ideas for a Christmas Birthday!:santa: Thanks for any help!

We have a trip planned for 9/20 thru 9/28, POFQ, my husband's birthday is on the 21st. Here are our ADR's, not sure when do do the bday cake.
9/20 Fultons dinner
9/21 Le Cellier-lunch
9/22 Chef Mickey's-breakfast
9/23 Tusker house-breakfast, 1900 Park Fair-dinner
9/25-Boma dinner
9/26-Biergarten lunch
9/27 CRT-breakfast.
Anyone have some sugestions. I really don't want to carry any leftover cake with us after we leave a restaurant, so I was thinking 9/20 at dinner, can I get a cake delivered there?

Thank you for your help. I think I will call today and ask what my options are. I have already bought him a present so maybe I will do what you did!! Thanks again for the help!!

I have not heard of a cake at any DTD restaurants, but that does not mean it is out of the question. I would probably spend the bucks and do one at 1900 Park Fair if I were you. From everything I have read, you get the most options and the most unique cakes at GF.

The Boma Zebra cake is uber cool too! With either of those dinners, you could always take a taxi home and put the leftovers in your POFQ fridge. That way you can have cake for breakfast. MMM MMM MMM!!!
