Official Avengers Super Hero Half Marathon Weekend 2014 Thread!

I will be staying at the Holiday Inn on Walnut. I got a good rate through AAA and it is close to the Expo and race start.

This is my go to DL hotel, I've stayed here 4 times now and really like it. It's not the fanciest hotel in the world but it's comfortable, clean, quiet, and a short convenient walk to DL.

Unfortunately during the Disneyland 10k it's sold out so I'll be trying out the Hilton Garden Inn in Garden Grove instead and driving rather than walking to the race.

I haven't decided where I'm going to stay yet for the Avengers half but the Holiday Inn is pretty likely again.

I don't see one listed on Chase's site under Limited Time Offers or Theme Park discounts. If there is one, it would be great. We were just about to sign up for the race.

I tried using the standard one from previous races (first 4 digits of your cc #) when I registered as an AP last week, but it wasn't accepted. Either they weren't giving preregs the discount, or they're not discounting this race.

I'm in for the 5k now too! If anyone hasn't signed up yet, I was able to get the visa discount on the 5k too.

Active's site is going coo-coo. It had me "wait in line" on a hold screen for 1 minute before I could access registration. I've never seen that before.

I had problems with Firefox, so I switched to Chrome and got in for the 5K which filled too quick for me last week.

So I'm in for both races!!!!!

And now it is back and showing 72% full. When you click on the Register button on the RunDisney page, it is not even taken you to Active. Wonder what that is all about.
