I'm sure security at MCO sees people all. the. time. doing what I did on the last trip: trying to scan my MagicBand at the check-in stand.
FYI, it doesn't work.
Can't stop laughing lol

OMG I am literally living this right now!! If I'd been able to focus AT ALL today I'd be done, but I keep sneaking onto disboards...I will enter the "longest hour ever". I will be in my last hour of work before the trip.
When the Internet went out one day I got a frantic text that said, “Mom! Help! Nothing in the house is working!” Don't you just love teenagers?
You know I want to love this post MeghanTwo weeks from right now, we'll be in the middle of our Disney Fairytale Wedding ceremony at Canada Terrace in Epcot! It took so much planning to get here, and now that it's suddenly so close I don't know where the time went! So excited for our trip, and for everyone else who's already in WDW or leaving soon!
Does anyone still do the lime green Mickey heads to "secretly" tell others they are DIS members at the parks? I think I still have a few of those laying around. I am thinking of pinning one to my new fannypack--yes--I WILL be wearing one this year.
I'm considering a fanny pack as well. I have 17 days to find a good one! I've never worn one, but I'm guessing it's got to be cooler than any cross-body or backpack I could bring.
Magic bands FINALLY came yesterday! Now it feels real. 2 weeks 6 days
Thank you!Safe travels to everyone!![]()
I'm in the pro-fanny pack camp for sure. Our first tripmy mom and I each used a small crossbody purse and we had a backpack that the three of use took turns carrying. Truthfully it sucked. Last year was just me and DS and I used a fanny pack and ds carried a backpack, which we packed a lot lighter than before. I had my cell, cigarettes, lighter, and park map in the fanny pack. backpack had our ponchos, DS's pins/lanyard, autograph book, his cell and our portable charger. I'd love to try going with just a fanny pack for each of us but prefer to have our disney ponchos so I'm torn. This is my thinking! I have always used a small purse-sized nylon backpack. It has always been great for packability BUT it makes my back so sweaty and it cuts into my shoulders and gets annoying after a while.
I found a great fannypack on Amazon a few months ago that I am excited to wear. A great medium size that I can easily have it sit more across my hip instead of around my waist to make it more comfortable in the August heat. I also got fannypacks for my DDs so that I am not carrying EVERYTHING. DH still has an old school leather fannypack from back in the 90s...lol

What fanny pack did you get from amazon. I like the one I have because it's small so it forces me to pack lightly but I'd love to have one that's just a bit bigger so I can fit my phone, charger and cigarettes in it
