Tomorrow is our two week mark! And my room kind of looks like a disaster area with all the stuff that needs to be packed!

Though this morning I was able to snag a noontime ADR for Beaches & Cream, replacing our Kona breakfast on the 10th and I couldn't be happier. It's perfect - go there and leisurely go to DHS for our first FP of that day (we have a late night the night before so we're doing a slow/easy morning that day)

I'm jealous that you live on the South Shore! I live up Framingham way and every time we drive to the ocean (which we both adore and wish we live closer to) we always say we want to live there. And hope your magic bands came! Once they left Springfield they showed up for us too so I'm hopeful for you! Yay! Congrats!

Wow! We were going to park at Buffalo airport for 18 days because we have a late afternoon flight booked and I just phoned my favourite Buffalo hotel and realized that it was going to be cheaper to stay there the night before our flight and leave our car at the hotel for 19 days.

That means one extra vacation day!!!! Because any night at a hotel = vacation to me!

Ok some of you may already of known this but I didn't. We r going 8/23-8/31 staying at SS. My in laws are joining us but staying off site. I made my FP+ 60 days out. I told my in laws they couldn't until 30 days out. We are at 33 days out now. Well last night I went on MDE for the heck of it logged in under my MIL and was able to copy all of our FP+ to her so everything matched! I was so excited and wish I knew this sooner so I could of did it right away! I was able to match all FP+ except for SDMT on our 1st day. We matched SDMT for later in the trip so she was happy!! Did anyone else know that you could copy even if they are offsite guests? It said they could copy as long as 1 guest was staying on property!! dde03 so excited only 33 more days!

I just went and checked and I didn't get one, so I did the screen shot thing too. Except I don't know how to do it on my computer, so I took a picture of it on my phone...kind of a screen shot, hahaha! Thanks for the idea

Hello from your absentee thread hostess!

We are all getting so close to our trips!!!

DH pulled the suitcases out of the basement yesterday - 26 more days to go!!!

I am firmly planted in the 2nd trimester now and feeling LOADS better and so ready to eat all of that delicious Disney food!!!

We found out that we are having a boy!!!! (We currently have 2 girls) So, that news has made this surprise pregnancy even more amazing!!!

I've just got home, and the Regional Schools Commissioner never made it as there was a terrible road accident on the roundabout near to our school, so they got caught up in the traffic. Unfortunately a lot of the kids are still stuck because the school buses can't get through to take them home. The main road towards the school has been completely closed in in one direction. They told most staff to go home at the normal time as we were able to go in the other direction, but as rush hour goes on that could become blocked too.

On a completely different note, my older brother just phoned me and tells me they are booking a villa in Kissimmee from August 25th to September 4th, which overlaps the end of our trip!

Not sure what they'll do about FP+ and dining etc, as we have all that in place. We also leave OKW for Portofino Bay on August 28th so I imagine they'll join us for some of our Universal days.
