I have to share that I've created a mini-Disney monster. My daughter is 2, and has just caught on that we're going. She is asking ALL the time if it's time to go to Disney World. I decided to count yesterday-she asked 12 times. The other day we were leaving a friend's house and I said, "Time to go!" and she said, "We go to Disney World?" At least she's finally almost as excited as I am :rotfl: Now I get why people surprise their kids with trips!

That's so cute! A couple months ago, I bought my 2-year-old some summer clothes and commented about her new Sofia the First shirt, "you can wear this in Disney World." Well, the next morning she put it on and thought that since she was wearing the shirt, we were leaving that day! She cried and cried when she found out we weren't going to Disney World right away.

We are 30 days out! Let the list making begin in earnest! ;)

Just opened the first suitcase.... whoooo hoo! :)

Oh, that's adorable! Poor thing - I would have done the same thing as a kid!

13 days! I'm way too excited! I need to send my dad our flight info but I know he's totally going to make fun of me if I tell him any time this week.

Though I did spend the time I was on the phone catching up with a former coworker packing all the things I know I'm not going to wear between now and leaving so I know where everything is.

Just added a lunch ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe on our last day (8/16). Our flight isn't until 6:30pm so it seemed like we could squeeze in a resort lunch and still get back to AoA in time to catch the ME bus to the airport (which I'm guessing would be around 3pm). Plus, I've never been to Wilderness Lodge and think it would be fun to check it out. Is this too much?

Say, did anyone else get an email from Disney about taking part in a test for lunch at BOG?

"Now for a limited time, you may be able to participate in a test for lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Step inside the Beast’s enchanted castle and experience a meal unlike any before. You can select an arrival window and pre-order meals for your entire party* before arriving at Be Our Guest Restaurant and on the day of your lunch, with your MagicBand**, you’ll be able to breeze by the line, confirm and pay for your order."

I'm tempted to, but I've already make plans for TS dinner every night we are there.

Ooooh, take that back, at the bottom of the email it says it counts as a quick-service credit. Nice.

Yep! Just keep in mind you can only do one day at a time. So if you want it for later in tour trip, you have to wait til 28 days out from the date you want

This question may have been answered somewhere but I can't find it anywhere! So hopefully someone can answer it for me! Where are the FP+ kiosks located in all the parks? We booked all of our FP+ for the morning and early afternoon so when we hop to another park we can hit the kiosk and see what we can FP that night.

Sounds like a perfect way to end your trip! :thumbsup2 I don't think it's too much at all. :goodvibes

Got my BOG lunch FP.. Yeah! :dance3:

And my countdown is 24 days, 0 hours, 30 minutes give or take a few seconds.. But who's counting :rolleyes1

I properly freaked out with excitement today (maybe because it's the last day of school... although I work full time, so I have to work, but I'm allowed to work from home, and it is so much less stressful without the pupils!) that we are only 26 days away... that feels like nothing! EEEEEK! :D

3 weeks to go! I can't believe I have kept it a secret from my ten year old daughter for this long. I am thinking of telling her 10 days before. Just gotta keep it in for 11 more days....

Don't say that! :rotfl: Are you staying on site? If you are, say, I will be booking the bounce back offer one month from today! :thumbsup2

I will be booking next year's vacation (for April) when rates are released next month!!! Always good to have one booked before you leave on the current one. :rotfl:
