Magiv Bands came for me and DD 15. We are so excited. Then we got a BOG FP invitation, just what we were hoping for. We leave 8/9. I've bought everything we need, except for snacks and to place an order with Amazon Pantry. We had to buy so much. I never wear shorts, only capris but knew I'd be too hot in Florida. Ditto on sleeveless shirts. DD had outgrown all of last year's clothes. I decided i just had to have a new cross body bag. We both needed new sneakers. Yikes, pre-Disney adds up.

I had planned to lose 30 lbs before we left and to start exercising more. Didn't happen. Oh well. I won't be the only fat person in Disney. But I wish I had exercised so I have better stamina. I have a few weeks so I can get some walking in.

Our Fps are done. I took the $80 a day we would've spent on the QS dining plan and put it into envelopes for each day. DD still eats kids meals so the dining plan made no sense. I've read about so many good things to eat, I can't wait to try some of them. With the $80 already set for the day, we should be able to.

Now to wait til 8/9!

Will Amazon Pantry ship to the resort? I have never used them before.

10 days! We have all our documents and I have printed out all our important information. Now, I just need to start packing this weekend. The next week is going to be super busy so I hope to get a lot of things packed ahead of time.

there's a thread about Amazon Pantry in the Budget Room. You can fill a box for I think $45 and ship it for approx $5. It doesn't matter how heavy it is. I put a case of diet coke and a case of small waters in mine. I'm not sure how to word the shipping label, I have to find that out

Just checking mailbox now......MickeyMail is here. Yellow ME tags arrived yesterday. Now I just have to purchase health insurance to cross the border. I usually go with CAA. Do any other Canadians have any recommendations for this?

We have bought travel health plans through RBC, Manulife, and Desjardins Financial in the past. They would also be worth running quotes through to compare :thumbsup2 .

Do you have a Health plan through work? If so check there as both dh and I are covered for travel through our work plans :-)

My husband and children are completely covered under his plan. I am covered under my husband's plan but not until it goes through my plan first. Unfortunately, my plan requires me to pay EVERYTHING up front first, then I can apply to get a portion of that reimbursed, then I can apply the rest to my husband's plan.

It's so much easier for me just to purchase separate coverage for myself. Then I don't have to worry. :)

Ahh. That's how our plans work too but we also have AMA/CAA coverage too. You can never be too covered right?? Knock on wood we've never had to use it!
