Now I think we're going to add HDDR in somewhere. I've wanted to do this on our last few trips but just never fit it in! Anyone have any suggestions as far as category seating? I've heard mixed reviews on cat. 3. Anyone have a good view in cat. 2/3? Thanks!

We had a great view from cat. 2 this past March. Facing the stage, we were all the way to the right in the outer ring, but the closest table to the front. I believe we booked just over two months out.

No problem! And I just double checked, I booked it only one month out. Don't know if you would be more centered but further back if it was booked earlier.

We arrive in 26 days and received our Magic Bands today but we still haven't received our Magical Express luggage tags. Does anyone know when we should be receiving those?

We got our ME tags at about the 60 day mark. They actually had ours messed up with the incorrect resort and we got new tags in less than a week. I'd probably call.

I am 33 days out and got my Magical Express booklet a long time ago, at least a month ago if not longer. My package confirmation with generic Mickey luggage tags came a few days ago. I have not received Magic Bands yet.

I called today for a friend going in September and was told they mail them at about 30 days out-and that's always been my experience in the past, all seven times I've used it. 60 days out seems crazy to me, I'd give it a few more days and then call.

I agree, 60 days seems really early. That's why I was totally surprised when I received mine LONG before I made my final payment. I would still call, just in case. It can't hurt just to check. Plus, who doesn't love calling Disney? I love hearing "have a magical day."

I've got 41 days! Two emails saying last chance to personalize bands. So should get them soon. I'm doing a split, so will get 3 sets No MDE yet. I'll be relieved when I get the tags. There's no way for me to verify the info until then since I rented points.

I think it depends on how you booked the ME package. We did ours online and got them months ago - about ten days after we booked it. It was really, really early for us to get them, though.

Received luggage tags yesterday. Should mail out our Magic Bands on Tuesday.

I think I got my day plans nailed down! No hopper tickets this trip to save a few bucks, and far fewer ADRs than I usually make. Hoop and the Frozen package ate up my dining budget.

8/25 - Arrival day - MK
8/26 - HS and the Frozen event premium package
8/27 - MK (I got a great mid-morning Anna and Elsa FP+ time so I'm thrilled; I'm hoping to get a BoG lunch FP+ this day too)
8/28 - EP - lunch ADR at Rose & Crown
8/28 - AK - followed by the 8:30pm Hoop-dee-Doo show (cat 2)
8/30 - Departure day - MK

Not bad considering I only started planning 3 days ago.

I also called and added my flight info for DME. Disney is just about the only place I look forward to calling! 49 more days...

One member of our party is flying and will be meeting us at the WL. I should be receiving our MBs this week and was planning to give him his to use on ME. That's about all the thought I gave that plan! Does he need to get luggage tags and/ or make a reservation for the bus? I usually plan, some would say excessively, and I don't know why I didn't think of this. I think I just assumed he and his luggage would just magically get on the bus with the wave of his magic band! Please let me know what else he needs to do. Thanks!! Less than 40 days and I have so much to buy before our trip!

Call right away and give ME his info; have his tags mailed directly to him. Shouldn't be a problem.

my DD and i are going in August. Does anyone know if at the waterparks if the adult isn't going to participate, do they still have to pay full ticket price? I have a medical condition and can't do water rides.

I don't know if this helps but we've done it using our DDP which gets you CAT 3, but the last time we did it we paid out of pocket for category 1 (main floor) seating. This really, REALLY improved our experience! We sat super close to the stage and had a lot of interaction... I even got picked to be the can can dancer! Wouldn't do it any other way from now on!

I just was talking about this in my December group, the DDP should get you category 2 OR 3 for the earlier shows (4 & 6:15), you can use it for cat. 1 for the 8:30.

Thanks everyone. I checked with our travel agent today and she said the luggage tags would be sent to her and she will give them to us. I just noticed my ticker is wrong. It has our original dates in it. Now I have to remember where to change that! I am getting so excited. We haven't told the kids about the trip yet. Can't wait to tell them!
