Frogg Toggs Chilly pads are made of a material that cools when you moisten it and wring it out. It is pretty neat how it works! It is good for all ages. We got ours on Amazon but I found them in our Lowe's store last year as well. THe size we have is pretty large and can probably be cut in half lengthwise. I highly recommend it!

My kids and husband love them. I however, hate the feel of them. I am super weird about textures. But the rest of the family swears by them.

I have an iPhone 5s with Virgin and I will add a text plan for the 3 weeks we'll be in FL to communicate easily with hubby who has free roaming with is cell phone from work ( he needs to keep it with him). I was told it is 20$ for 1000 text messages.

For data, we'll get a roaming plan for our iPad that has cellular with Bell. Another 20$ for 100mb. Not cheap but with free wifi in many places I don't think we need more.

Hello everyone! I'm super excited. I just paid off the balance on our trip. It's the first trip my son and I will ever take and has been about 5 years in the saving. I'm a grad student and only working part time, so it's been difficult saving up. We have had a lot happen in our lives and although the money could definitely be spent elsewhere, I think he (ok, we) deserve it! My only issue right now is that it's in August, so we'll be counting down the days during his summer vacation lol.

Our 2nd mom/daughter trip is 8/2 to 8/9 at AS Sports. I don't have a day to day game plan but we're excited to add RnR to our agenda!!!!

Sounds like you definitely deserve it. Part of the fun is in the counting down, although our trip can't come fast enough. Sounds like your son is very lucky to have a mom like you!!

I went out on a limb yesterday and tentatively booked a room at All Star Music for the 23rd through the 27th. I took my first trip to WDW in January and fell in love with Epcot and DAK so I'll probably spend most of my time in those two parks because I feel like there is so much to explore that I missed out on. I might head over to MK for Wishes and Splash Mountain. Maybe I'll swing by DHS for Star Tours. Who knows.

I have plenty of time before I have to buy plane and park tickets so it wouldn't be a big deal if I canceled the reservation. It's not stopping me from going into full on planning mode though.

Disney is definitely our main event, but we will hit Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara for a night or two this summer and we will visit my sister's trailer for a few nights near Sandbanks provincial park.

Disney is definitely our main event, but we will hit Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara for a night or two this summer and we will visit my sister's trailer for a few nights near Sandbanks provincial park.

We had initially said that our Orlando trip was going to be sole getaway this summer (since its our first two-week long vacation), but then I got a text message on Thursday afternoon from DH. He said that he had booked off some time around his birthday (end of June) and asked me to book "something fun for a few days, no budget restriction, just no planes".

Soooo.......I knew what my boys would want. We are now booked for a three-day, meal-inclusive Great Wolf Lodge stay . If I am going to vacation in my home province, Niagara Falls is where we want to go. And we are HUGE fans of the Lodge. I snagged a reasonably decent nightly rate, too, thanks to a 20% discount code for early bookings . DS graduates on June 25th, his prom is June 26th, then we arrive at the Lodge on the 27th.

Sandbanks Provincial Park is a beautiful place.....its less than 30 minutes from where we live . We will do several beach days if we can (Sandbanks, North Beach, Cobourg Beach) but those will just be day trips.

So, we will kick off the summer with a fun trip, and end it off with our big bang. In the middle, we will be working our tails off . Even DS!
