I promise to update everything this weekend. I know I am a little behind but I have been preoccupied. We put an offer on a house last weekend which was accepted, so we have been quite busy. Home inspection was today which went really well. I am really excited, but nervous at the same time. Anyway, I will update the lists this weekend everyone.

Also....a big to all the new folks who have joined our group over the past while. Less than 6 months for most of us now!

We've had BOG dinner last trip and really weren't wowed with the selections. We may try the lunch menu this time. The castle is beautiful.

We've had Boma and I would definitely say its worth the money. Selection is fantastic and all the food was wonderful. We didn't find it any louder than most restaurants though it is open from above to the lobby. I love AKL and would always want to go back there but I keep getting trumped by hubby who wants to try everything else first lol.

Thank you for taking the time to share you thoughts. They were very helpful! This will be our first time at AKV (and BWV and VWL, LOL) and I'm sooo excited.

Boma is a dinner I've wanted to try for years and I always let my rational side talk me out of it. I decided that we're going to go for it. On September 5 my DH and I will celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. So this will be our early dinner! ..with the kids but in this case I love that! .. I fixed the concern I had with loosing flexibility by making it on the day we check in. (I know we'll be there LOL) So please add...

ADR: August 21 5:00 dinner BOMA!!!! YEAH!!!



ETA: I just bought my tickets from Undercover tourist ... decided on ... Park Hoppers!!

Hey guys- so I have been lurking on this thread and thought I would post.... So here goes- my hubbie, and two daughters age 3 and 5 ( will be 6 by the time we are at Disney) are going aug. 20th- 26th.
Never went this late, but figured since we have to go in the summer ( hubbie is a teacher) might as well go when the crowds are lower. Staying at beach club villas- rented DVC points for the first time. So far so good! Made ADRs on Friday morning! Everything went great- but there was trouble linking it on MDE. Had to link them one by one. But that is ok- I'll take it! Here are our ADRs. Feel free me to add to list!

I bought a new Roots bathing suit last weekend at Costco for $20! When I got home, tried it on and realized how well it actually fit, I jumped in my car, drove back to Costco and bought another one! So excited!!!

Just curious-How long has it been since everyone's last trip? Or is it your first?

(Sorry if this was discussed in earlier posts-I tried to keep up, but got lost for a while when work/life got crazy

My last trip was in 2011-my longest "dry spell" ever. I've been reading the Thinking Fan's Guide to WDW, and it occurred to me that it's going to look soooo different. The thought of Dumbo being moved and the other FL changes is starting to make me sad. I don't deal well with change

Just curious-How long has it been since everyone's last trip? Or is it your first?

This will be our 6th Orlando trip (the first occurring January 2009, then January, August and December 2012, and the last in August 2013). 2014 marks our third (and probably final) August vacation ... since our boy graduates high school in June, we are no longer tied to the school calendar (college schedules are much more flexible with a shorter academic year and reading weeks in both October and February).

So it will be just under one year from the time we went home last summer until the time our feet hit Orlando soil again. So excited!
