late as usual.. for yesterday's QOTD - I start amassing trip specific items (ponchos moleskin, etc) in a suitcase 1-2 months head of time. The packing list will be complete one week ahead.. pretty much packed 36 hours prior to trip.

Do you mark your luggage in a particular way? If so, how?

Well we have our resort luggage tags, plus our regular tags with our contact information. The best thing is that we bought super bright red luggage so it's easy to spot coming off the carousel at the airport.

We have black luggage like most of the world so we have lime green ribbon with polka dots that I put on everything so it can be spotted a mile away.

Question of the Day: Rental car or ME?

I like to have a rental car. We like to do other things besides Disney (GASP).

Rental car all the way, baby!

As offsiters, its a must (but quite honestly, we were no fan of the buses even when we did stay onsite, and would never rely on Disney transport again). And we love, love, LOVE to explore the area.

We have a midsize SUV reserved with National for our entire two week stay. We look forward to being able to come and go to the parks, to the beach, to the outlet malls at our leisure .

ME for us. We haven't ventured out of the Disney bubble yet. Maybe next time. My daughter's almost tall enough for Universal.

Do you mark your luggage in a particular way? If so, how?

DH & I have very funky luggage that has a bright, unmistakeable surfboard pattern.....so those are hard to miss.

That said, we mark all of our suitcases (including DS's, that is your basic solid navy and looks exactly like 40% of the other luggage on the carousel) with a different colour bath poof on the handle....that seems to be a unique way to set our suitcases apart from the others. And we also have a Canadian flag luggage tag on each one, too.

We're at inversely first so we'll be taking a cab there and once at Disney we'll be renting a car for the last few days as we're driving to port canaveral for our cruise but on our way home we'll be ME, so a little of both lol.

We received our ME tags last week and our Magic Bands today!

We decorated our first set of. Magic Bands yesterday. For the first time, I think they turned out pretty well. I want to try different things with our second set. It was fun to decorate them though. My DDs turned out the best. She was really excited.

How did you decorate them? Ours should be arriving in a few weeks. We get two sets, because we are splitting between the YC and WL.

For our last 2 nights, the WL was over $100 cheaper than staying at the YC. We are moving for those savings. That almost pays for our Halloween tickets.

I'm driving to Disney so we will have the car. I don't plan on using it though! I much prefer using the buses.

I'm so bad at directions! It once took me 45 minutes to get from the Magic Kingdom to AOA! I kept getting lost and winding up in Animal Kingdom! LOL

We will be driving down so will have our minivan. My in-laws are flying down with the kids. We will use both disney transportation and our vehicle.

My friends were at the Frozen Premium party yesterday....here's her quick reivew from Facebook: Seriously just had the best night ever at the Frozen Party at Hollywood Studios ...80s cover band, reserved seating with all you can eat sweets and mickey pops for the kids and vodka lemonade for the adults ... Awesome fireworks ... I may never come home!
I am looking forward to this on Aug 14! I did the SWW preemium package and I know this will be equally awesome!

Towncar or shuttle to the Dolphin then Disney transportation. Only going for a long weekend, and we can walk to 2 parks!
