****OFFICIAL August, 2012 (PART 2)****

Well, tomorrow is the last day to tie up any loose ends. We are mostly packed. DD is not, but all her laundry is clean and she has an open suitcase :rolleyes2

I usually pack both the kids but she's 15.. she can handle it. Just going to sit back and let her do her thing.

The floors all still need a good cleaning but that's the type of thing I do on my way out the door. If I did them today they'd need to be redone on Thursday before we go.

Not much left to do but wait. I am glad I'll be working right up until we leave because I need something to make the last 48 hours pass.

50 hours and we'll be landing in Orlando!:cool1:

Just got back from 5 magical days at Disney. By far our best trip yet. Just DH and I this time around, left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa. We woke up early each day, hit the parks, rode a ton of rides and then came back to the resort and parked our butts at the pool. Some nights we went back to a park, some nights we stayed at the resort. We stayed at the AoA Lion King Suites and it was great. The area around the buildings seems alot more shaded then the Cars side which helped with the mid day sun. Plus, I think we were one of the first guests to stay there. The comforter was stiff and hard to move it was so new. I highly recommend this resort. Oh and the pool is salt water and totally awesome!

We will be at POR 8/26 to 9/4. I can't wait.

Have a wonderful trip!!!
POR is one of my absolute favourites! I just love the landscaping and atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great! Our group was too large for POR this time, but we hope to be back in February.
Have a Magic Cookie Bar from the Food Court. We LOVED those!:)

I am the last person you want to try and explain this to you:rolleyes2

Do you use a photohosting site? I use photo bucket, upload the photo to there, and then copy the image link and post it here. It should look something like this

I would use photo bucket but have no idea how. Is it a site that I register for? Clueless :wave2:

Just a quick question about this. Is this a trick I don't know about? What do you do with the newspaper? :confused3

as PP said, stuff in your sneakers and they will dry faster

Does he not have two hands with which to pack his own "just in case" stuff? ;)
are u kidding? I still have to grab his underwear and socks.

1 more day to go!! This time tomorrow, I'll be close to landing in MCO. The bags are pretty much all packed...and are somewhat empty. This might be a bit of a problem as clothes will shift if the bag is not filled. What else can I stuff in?

That sounds sooooo much better than 2 days!!! :lmao:

Doesn't it though?:rotfl2:

In fact I will have you know that in 48.5 hours I will be landing in Orlando::yes::

We are all so excited. Dh got his average for the semester today..

93%:cheer2:

I love my braniac husband! So, the mood around here is festive and excited. Thank goodness we have work tomorrow. I'd be climbing the walls if I didn't have something to do.

Woot, woot!! :cool1: What a smartie pants!

Talk about an awesome way to kick off a vacation :goodvibes .

It really is! He works so hard. He decided it was time to go back and pursue an education and he is so serious about it at this stage in his life. He pushes himself right to the limit but never complains and I am just so proud of him.
Just can't wait for this trip for all of us:goodvibes

Got home safely. I'm sad we had to leave of course, but I'll be back in 93 days!! :woohoo:
I will be starting my TR tomorrow. I'll post the link here!

cONGRATS TO YOUR HUBBIE!! My hubby has gone back to school too and is now working on his Masters in Nursing through an online course - studying AND working full time! Thank goodness our Dis trip is falling right during his term break. When we went on our cruise in March, he had to give up a few marks because he missed some stuff he had to do and right after the cruise while we were still on vacation, he had to spend some time with a laptop in a friend's condo to do homework. I'm so proud of him - he's been staying in high 90s for the last year and a half and will graduate by the end of this year. :cool1:

Looking forward to reading!

I have been so busy packing for our move and this trip :faint:. So ready for vacation!! DD called me today to let mw know that we are going to have to leave 6 hours later than scheduled due to some testing that she has to do for her schooling. UGH :( I understand but all I want to do is get on the road :drive: and not at noon with a 17 hour drive. Oh well maybe Isaac will not show up :rotfl2: with the luck I have been having would not surprise me!!!

Hi everyone, we checked in on Sunday and have been going nonstop since the plane landed. I figured the thread would have slowed down a bit being this late into AUG but I had a ton of pages to read.

We did DQ at DTD on Sunday, EPOCT on Monday and MK yesterday. The WIFI at MK worked great and I was able to use the FaceTime app to show my DW and DD wishes back home. We did the Wishes dessert party last night and it was great we had a spot right in line for Tinker-bell to fly right over us only with the rain she didn't fly at all, but at least we were dry and had seats the whole time :). Today will be a bit more easy going for us TL during the day and ??? for the evening. We are thinking of having dinner at and exploring AoA.

So far no Dis meets with my LGMHs and I have three of them on me at all times but the weeks are still young.
