****OFFICIAL August, 2012 (PART 2)****

4 days to go, and apparently sleeping is no longer an option. I woke up around 5:30 this morning, after finally falling asleep around 1:30! I guess it's good, because I have a million things to do!

SO excited! I got adrs to Be Our Guest for our next 2 trips! Since I am here now I went to the concierge to book my BOG adrs....walked in at 6:58 and she got me right away! I have 2 adrs: December 24 at 6:30 pm and Feb 3 at 6 pm!!!!! If I had called I would still be on hold!
The bad news? I have my ME papers hanging on my door:sad1:

GOING TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM TODAY!!! So excited!!!!! Quick update: I cried yesterday when we drove in and again when we checked in (and again during dinner...I dont remember the last time i cried so much lol). Our CM didn't speak english well and I didn't think we got upgraded (of course I couldn't understand a word he said) and I was totally fine with that but then when we got to our room we realized we had a view! So far we've seen elands, antelope (they are out there sleeping now) and 3 HUGE Griffon vultures (still out there too) outside our room. :) We ate at Mara last night and it was awesome. This whole place smells awesome. I love it!!! Thinking of switching out Tusker House for Boma but I dont know if I even can. But DH loved Mara so much he wants to eat there for every meal but I said that wouldn't be very convenient...lol It is an AWESOME counter service though.

For people who have been to both Tusker House and Boma...which should we do??

Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

I am going completely and totally insane LOL.

:welcome:

Ditto ditto ditto

I have to work 9-10 hours a day, everyday, until Friday at 4, then we leave straight for the airport. Rush hour traffic, construction and road closures make an hour and a half drive into a three hour tour, and I don't want to be running late, the security line at Seatac can stretch for miles and miles. And God forbid there is an accident on I-5, you'll sit there for over an hour. I'm trying to be prepared for anything, I'm one of those constantly late for everything people.

I'm doing the "leaving this week dance" !!!! We leave on Thursday!!!!! Yay! We are trying a new resort and a few new restaurants so it should be exciting! Too bad my mother in law invited herself along lol! I'm still gonna have fun I'm still gonna have fun I'm still gonna have fun! If I say it enough maybe it will come true right?!? Lol

4 days left already can't sleep! Not a thing done yet either!! Starting to worry about the weather!! Just want Friday to get here already!!

Because I decided to cut our last two days and stay at the Royal Pacific, I had to cancel my Thursday 'Ohana reservation and was kind of bummed about it. I just looked for the heck of it to see if there was any other day open there and scored a last minute Sunday night reservation! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Lapu Lapu here I come!!!

Sitting here at work, watching the minutes tick by. I have 3 more days in the office (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) then I'm off until September 4th :cool1: .

We don't leave until Saturday morning but I know it will come quickly once work is done. DH's last day at work is Thursday, and my DS works until Friday at 5, so I'm the first one to wrap things up.

Haven't started the packing yet.....so I know what I will be doing each evening this week. I think I will spend my free time here at the office reviewing my travel binder to be sure everything is tickety-boo :) .

My concentration is completely shot. Thank goodness I work for wonderful, understanding bosses. Must remember to tell them how much I appreciate them!!

1 week from TOMORROW we will be taking off in the plane heading to Sunny Florida :dancer:

8 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

Boma. We really like both, and Tusker House has the advantage of having characters. However I enjoyed the food at Boma more and there is something to be said for just walking down from your room to have a great dinner. It was my dh's absolute favourite last trip and he wanted a reservation there again for this one. I opted not to get one, but I kind of wish I had even it meant driving over from Fort Wilderness.
Enjoy that trip and spend some time enjoying the resort:)
One thing I wish we had done is spend more time just hanging around AKL.. there is so much to do and see!!

Yep..concentration completely shot here too!!!
3 more sleeps!:cool1:
My littlest guy is so excited he's practically vibrating. He was snuggling me this morning and said "Thank you for planning all these Disney trips Mama. I am the luckiest boy I know!"

I have that nervous flippy feeling in my stomach and I think it's here to stay.
I still have some cleaning to do. Ds is completely packed, but the rest of us aren't. So that will be the order of the day. Also have to go to the bank and the pharmacy today.
Now if I could just stop watching those storms out in the Atlantic:confused:
It is waaaayyyyy too soon to see where they will go or what they will do, but it doesn't stop me from watching.:headache:

Awwwww.....what a sweet thing for your boy to say :goodvibes . Makes all the planning and budgeting so very worth it.

I am totally with you on the weather. My DH and DS are so chill about it all, countering all my fretting with "no use in worrying about it, you can't change the weather....whatever happens, we will still have a great time!". And I just want to counter with "STOP BEING SO SENSIBLE!!!" :rotfl: .

4 days left!!!!

I know.. how dare they introduce logic into our carefully crafted hysteria?:rotfl:

I would definitely do Boma. It's one of my favorite places to eat! They have a carving station as well as numerous sections to the buffet. I love trying new things and Boma has a terrific variety. They have yummy desserts too! If you go, make sure to try the Zebra Domes if they still offer them. Mmmmmmmmmmmm! I'm getting hungry!

Sooooo......who wants to obsess about the weather with myself and pigletto? (hey, its something to do!)

Hmm, so it may rain lol. The last one looks most promising :thumbsup2 other than a couple of days - dont really like the term torential though I must say. Looking at what day we planned AK (Tuesday, okay that should be good). Doesnt look like a ton of thunder either so fingers crossed. Is it just the outdoor rides that may close in bad weather? PLEASE weather gods nice weather! :worship::worship:
