I think I've found the answer to my coffee nightmare. So long as I can use the in-room coffee maker just to heat up hot water... I can, right?[/IMG]
I get them, but usually it's around 5 months out after I get all of my ADR's booked and I realize just how long I have to wait.
This is the point where I start to stress big time about money. Do I have enough, how much do I need to bring, what if I run out, etc?

We always had a blast!!! If it would help you guys that are worried about money I am sure we could all come up with ideas to stretch a few dollars for you on your trips!
What are you most concerned about? Tips? Souveniers? Extra activities? I'll give suggestions if I can![]()
OK, As the Official Uncoordinated Cheerleader for Team August-I have now declared Thursday officially "Sigmund Freud Friday"
The good thing about what Im hearing in these posts, is that we recognize the dysfunction...that my friends, is the key to change it for us, and our lives, and our children-and their kids!!
Here's a question for all you Team August peeps out there. Do you ever come home from Disney with MORE money than you thought you would????
DisneyMomFanatic said:We all get matching t-shirts as souvies (if we can find them in all our sizes), my DH always gets a deck of cards from where ever he goes(even if it is multiple times, he just gets a different style from the last one). What I am slightly worried about is the fact that I have to get both our cars inspected before our vacation. I don't think they need anything crazy and I have a budget for them already but I could use some well wishes and good thoughts on that front. I would love to come home from disney with money still in my pockets.

My answer... Only once. we were not as hungry on a trip when we weren't on the DDP and didn't spend all our alloted food money. How bout you???![]()
AND it doesn't help that I just found out this morning that my car needed repairs to pass inspection - they just called, and it's over $700 - that's more than our room
I hear ya about the finance worries....it sounds like you truly need a vacation, but you certainly cant do anything thats gonna bite u in the butt at the end of the day. It sounds like your worry is overpowering your excitement for your trip. But we can only do what we can do and unfortunately sometimes life gets in the way of our fun, doesnt it. I hope everything works out for you. I cant tell you how many times "ive been there".
Hugs to you-everything will work out in the end. Theres my dose of positivity for the week for what its worth

Save 20% on food (not beverages) at the following casual dining restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin hotels on Disney property: Cabana, Fountain, Fresh, Garden Grove, Picabu and Splash. Thanks to Marlene for info.
Taking notes here. No DDP and a very tight budget. Don't need souvies, we were just there in April, he still has some pins to trade, i'm more worried about feeding him for 5 days LOL. Thinking of having Garden Grocer deliver some cereal, milk, bread and luncheon meat. Oh and water!

I forgot about Trails End at Fort Wilderness. Decent buffet with excellent prices compared to the other Disney restaurants.

I would love to get souvenirs, and I am positive my son will be asking for a lot of things, but if we can't do it, we can't do it. Food though, we can't live without. I'd also really like to do the Behind the Seeds Tour.
