I actually knew a girl in college(back in the stone age ) who didn't own any shoes that were lower than 3" heels. 3" heels is the highest I will even look at, and that is when I have to look REALLY good. See, my thought is, I am short, everybody knows it, why torture myself just for a few inches of fake height. RIGHT??? Who's with me on this??? Anyone, Bueller, Bueller.....

I work for DL so we usually non-rev down but this year I couldn't pass up the Southwest credit card/50,000 points. This was enough to get 3 round trip tickets! So we are flying out on Southwest on the 4th

Go Minnesota contingent!!! I fly out on the 8th on Delta. SW is awesome out of the humphrey terminal. Love that you can pick your seat. Although no too many food options.

So does anyone else bring some sort of coffee bag or something? I cant stand Nescafe and ALL Stars Music doesnt have coffee makers(which honestly I prefer not to use but I need coffee so I take cleaners and wash it myself normally.
I considered getting instant brewed coffee bags but then I have to waste my money on a refillable mug for hot water when I wasted it last time on 2 and never used them(excpect for keeping my beer cold) since we dont drink soda and learned they STILL serve nescafe in wdw resorts.
What can I expect at AKL for coffee?? Ill get room service if I need, unless Mara has something besides Nescafe. HELP!

We listen to a few different ones. The DIS, WDW today and my favorite is Be Our Guest Podcast! I just love Mike and the crew they are so down to earth!

On one road trip I stumbled across a scrapbook/disney/moms podcast but I never could remember the name, so I haven't been able to find it again.

Do you listen to any good ones?

I have a stupid question. How do you find/subscribe/download to podcasts? I don't have an iPhone (Droid until October) but my older boys have iPod Touches and my hubs has an iPhone. I have an itunes account and can listen on their devices or my laptop, but someone school me in this because there are some Disney and comedy podcasts I would like to listen to!

I don't know the answer to this, but I am glad I am not alone in my coffee-neediness. I am seriously considering smuggling my Keurig into the car.

My Dh drinks coffee but when we are on vacation he doesn't seem to drink much coffee. I drink soda for my coffee in the morning.

I'm a coffee snob. I REFUSE to drink Nescafe. The only good coffee on property is the stuff you bring yourself, and even then the putrid taste of Florida tap water will sour the taste of your coffee as well. I've taken to bringing Starbucks Via packets, and I'm going to use bottled water to brew it. I already bought mine for the trip, I bought a pack of the hot version for the morning, in the room, and a pack of iced to take out the door in the heat with me and for the afternoon to mix with perhaps some Bailey's for an afternoon poolside libation, LOL.

For some reason this reminds me of NCIS. On that show Gibbs loves his coffee and we find out on one of their overnight cases that he brings his own coffee maker with him to hotels. I'm not a coffee drinker but if I was I would probably do that too. If you're driving maybe that's an option? But I think AKL should have some good options. I was watching a Samantha Brown AKL thing on youtube and she was concierge level but she had several options for coffee and juices for free. I would think those options would be available for purchase elsewhere at the resort.
