I totally agree with this and feel the same way. As someone who is in the sun almost every day (hence my name), I am psycho about reapplying sunscreen. I slather it on my boys at least every hour. Also, I buy wide cloth headbands to cover my scalp at the beach.



I actually find that a little goes a long way. I had a bottle for two summers that I just finished, and, like I said, I am a serial reapplier. I just checked what I use for the boys- it's a kids, sensitive skin banana boat 8 oz bottle that has lasted three boys all summer. Maybe grab two bottles about that size? Hope I helped a little.

Good to know! I will check out banana boat too. I was looking at like cetaphil and neutrogena sensitive skin and they say 1.7 ounces! what?!? I want to check walmart too for their baby brand. It has some good reviews online.

On a sidenote, I just checked out the undercover tourist crowd calendar and it is COMPLETELY the opposite of touringplan.com...interesting!

We use the Disney fan that we bought 6 year ago The nice thing is that Disney replaced it once when the battery compartment broke, so if I have a problem when we are there, they may help us again.

I have had an on and off on productive cough and low fever the last couple of days. Well today it hurts to take a deep breath. I'm worried it's pneumonia. At one point today i took a deep breath and it hurt so bad i contemplated the ER. If I feel like this tomorrow I'm making an appointment with my doctor. Last time I had pneumonia it lasted a month. I hope that's not the case this time. We leave in 24 days!

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast and this just makes my heart happy. I really wish Be our Guest would be open too while we're there. I definitely have to make plans to return as soon as possible to see all this stuff.

I just hit that phase. The "So excited I can't stand it anymore" phase.

I watched a video of the Haunted Mansion and as soon as I heard the audio my stomach started flipping.
Darn. I was hoping I would make it until the week of the trip before I turned into a 6 year old and got super impatient.

We bought those fans for our first trip in 2008. Long story short.. I hate them.
They are HUGE and bulky and nobody wanted to carry them around after the first day. One of them never worked and another leaked all over the bag. Go for a smaller one.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. DD is feeling much better today and is fever free. She has gotten mystery fevers before and has had to sleep them offf. Last year she missed a whole week of school because the fever would return in the evening.

Hey all,

Just wanted to share something funny my DH said to me earlier tonight. I asked him where our suitcases are (since we just moved less than a month ago) and he said they are in the storage shed. I said ok can you get them between now and this weekend. He said I am not getting them out before the 11th. Here is the funny part... Starting to pack any earlier than that would just be stupid.????? REALLY??? He said you don't need more than 12 days to pack... He has been with me on MANY trips and he KNOWS me. He is doing this to mess with me. Anyone else with family that just wants to mess with them this way????

Where did you get it? I checked at Walmart and Walgreens but haven't tried anywhere else. I figured online would be easier.

I should be working too. But I have Disney brain. This sunscreen thing has my attention. Talked to DH he definitely needs a lotion not a spray. But the lotions all come in such small amounts 2-4 ounces for the sensitive skin/baby stuff and you're supposed to use 1 ounce per application and DH is a big guy so likely more. Ugh. I want to prevent him from burning and overheating and overall I just want him to be a happy healthy camper. I am too used to him feeling badly and I dont want him to get sick on vacation. I should probably just go get generic but again I want something that definitely works and is okay for his skin.

I LOVE blue lizard, regretfully I did not order it before this trip, I hope I like the other natural sunblock as much. I used it a few times, spreads differently but seems good.

I had a crafty shirt epiphany! Park maps need white shirts to show color. How is it that I have a BA in Economics and couldn't figure this out before I made the shirts???? I think the crafty part of my brain has no connection to my fingers and any other body part to make it come out... Oh well, I will go to the store tomorrow and buy more shirts and transfer sheets. If this round doesn't work, I am done!

I have those! We bought 2 in may to test and just went back to buy 2 more. They are awesome! DD4's hair gets aught in it occasional and it stops immediately and doesn't hurt her at all (she doesn't even like us brushing her hair).
