A: Head to DTD for dinner at Earl of Sandwich
B: Head to Epcot for Illuminations
C: Head to BLT for the TOWL to see Wishes
D: Fantasmic!
E: Relax at pool to be ready for 8 am rope drop at AK Wed.

I pick A.. thought our personal favourite is Wolfgang Puck Express. :)
We rarely do a park on arrival day. I like to save the big walking into a park moment for our first full day:)

Ok I am going to vote for either A or E. For the very same reason as Pigletto gave. My DH said his vote is for E. So our two cents given, run with it! :lmao:

I pick A also...that sounds like what we would do...not too crazy of a night and you can still be ready for AK the next day. I would REALLY want to do B though ;)

You can eat anytime, or anywhere for that matter -including around the world at Epcot. Catch Illuminations and grab a bite there, then soak up the atmosphere -you have EMH.

I could totally handle a 4:30 am start if it came with a limo!!! :cool2:

I vote for A, as long as you don't hang around too long (you know, shopping or anything), that way you can still get to bed early for RD the next day.

Ooohhh....lucky, lucky!!!! :yay:

DLR is on my bucket list.........I *will* visit there someday!!! (though probably with the grandkids......please let that be a long way off :faint: ).

:rotfl:

Too funny :goodvibes, but then again I hear ya on that one. I really didn't think we were going to go to DLR, DH would much rather go to WDW because he knows that place inside and out like the back of his hand. However, we decided that we should do something different and still have it be Disney. So we decided to choose between a Disney cruise or DLR, so we had a family meeting and the girls automatically said DLR (they want to see Carsland so badly). I was completely fine with it since I have always wanted to go to DLR but always thought it would be way too expensive just to get to California from Illinois (Chicagoland area). Unfortunately, this will probably be a once in a lifetime trip out there for us, so I am determined to see and do everything that I can possibly see and do in a 8 or 9 day trip (days are to be determined :goodvibes).

Oh help...I just posted on the disabilities forum but I'm not sure how many of ya visit over there.

Ian has been having some GI issues that docs initially thought was Chron's. Another round of endoscopy/colonoscopy show no inflammatory disease BUT he does have lactose/sucrose and maltose intolerance.

I have never heard of any of these except for the lactose intolerance, we don't see the GI doc until Sept and his peditrician says to watch labels and eliminate as much of those from his diet as possible.

From what I have Googled, that seems like just about everything! Do any of you happen to have any experience with this? I wandered around the store reading labels and everything seems to have maltodextrin and sugars! I bought a bunch of organic and gluten-free foods to try out but boy are they expensive!

What about the restaurants? He LOVES his mickey waffles...do they have gluten-free ones? Do they taste the same? Thanks for any input, I'm really kind of at a loss right now as to what he should be eating.

Crazy thought...
Has anyone here ever brought their dog to Disney with them? They have that resort for them. I was just looking at prices and assuming we could find hotels on our drive down and back to stay that would allow her (she is 80 lbs so even most hotels that allow pets dont allow a pet that big) it would cost about the same as the pet sitter.

Probably too much stress for her though. I would love to have her near though. :) She would probably be more comfy at home. She hasn't done well at boarding places in the past. They always say she doesn't want to come out of her kennel.

We're taking the 7pm flight on the 22nd - arrive about 10. By the time we get the ME, check in, etc - its midnight before we hit the sack. Or...more like, that's when my family sleeps. I'm up for many more hours unpacking and getting hyper excited. Our first day will be at DQ!!

I say A or E as well. To make sure you get enough rest for your first day.

Ooh, I limo. I like the sound of that... much more glamorous than our mini-van. Early start though.

I think DH will be happy to hear that we'll do DTD! Maybe we'll head there first, then head back to swim for the night. I am overthinking this now, right? Here's hoping I get some sleep tonight! Disney, here we come!

Yeah, we are taking a limo. It is one of the splurges for this trip. We did Deluxe Dining and a limo. My kids have been in a limo one other time for a trip to the airport for our vacation to Disney/cruise. My DD was still in a carseat but remembers it and wanted another one. So, since it takes 45 mins to get to the airport and our flight is at 7am, I didn't want to take train to airport or ask for someone to drive or any other options, so limo it is! I want to be pampered a little bit. It's mommy's vacation too! :rotfl2: We arrive at Orlando by 9:35am then hit ME. I hit single digits tomorrow. OMG, I am toooooooooooooo excited to contain myself. We had a very rough past year and desperately NEED this vacation. I need my sanity elixer (the only drink I need)
