Official August 2009 thread!

I was not suppose to go to Disney this year, only Vegas, but I managed to get it done, I'm soooo happy!
So OKW for us from August 6th to the 16th

We are going August 30-September 5th! It is a total surprise for DD9; we aren't telling her until we are headed for the airport! As an additional surprise, my DN11 is flying down to meet us. It is his first trip and I am really happy to be sharing this experience with him. AND we will be celebrating my birthday on the 31st!

We are staying at the POP and have put in a request for our favorite building, the 50's!

Staying at AS Family Suites 8/8-8/22.
There are 5 of us & looking forward to have 2 rooms, 2 pottys, & 2 tv's!

I have until sunday to get my adr's together.

Well, it didn't look like it was going to happen this year, but we've decided to go ahead! I got everyone to agree to a moderate, I just wasn't up for a deluxe expense this year. We're going August 15 - 23, for our first stay at CSR and our first time with free dining!!!

We will hopefully see you there!!! We will be there 16th to the 24th but we are going down early to stay at All Stars as of the 13th!!!
2nd time for free dining but first time as CSR....two words => QUEEN BEDS!

So excited that we are in DOUBLE DIGITS as of today!!

I have a question about Fast Pass...Say you are holding one for a ride and you still have 45 mins. left on it. Can you get a pass for a different ride? Or is that you can only have a pass for one ride at a time? I am confused with everyone saying get your FP for such and such ride first then ride the rides then come back...so that got me thinking you can have multiple ride passes at a time.

I hope so too!

I'm so happy with the ADRs.

This way, I'm in both MK and Ep for morning EMH days, but not AK or HS--they're require a bus to hop from and I'm hoping for less crowded days. I got lunch ADRs there, and we can go back to the Poly for a swim whenever we're ready, then hit either MK or Ep as the mood strikes us those nights, then do counter Service for dinner.

We also miss Fantasmic (and hopefully the crowds it brings). It was a magnificent show, but scared the pants off both my daughters.

I'm hoping for the right mix of planning ahead and serendipity.
