Official August 2009 thread!

I figured my fellow Augusters would be waiting on pins and needles for the hours to come out too... its killing me LOL i have ADR's to plan for our 8/8 trip

I'm right there with ya. I can make our ADRs on the 6th and those park hours would sure help me out!

Yay! I just made my ADR's! Got everything I wanted at nearly the times I wanted! I even got CRT breakfast!

Just booked all our ADR's and got everything too at all the times I wanted. I'm a little mad because I couldn't book the Fantasmic dining experience. I did book Mama Melrose and hopefully with some luck Fantasmic will be playing that night and I could change it to the FDE..

Do you not coinside your ADR, with park hours... cuz I still havent seen them come out and now Im not waiting so patiently LOL!

I have made all my ADR's for dinner only on the DDP. Most are for between 5-7 pm taking into account Wishes and Illumiations being around 9pm. I'd rather have what I want and work around it. Seeing that the park hours for August were historically late (looking at last year), I figure an early dinner then back to the parks for the remainder of the evening.

I, too, am anxiously awaiting the August park hours. We haven't purchased park hoppers in three years (just didn't use them enough to justify the cost) so I really need the park hours in order to make my ADRs. Disney has thrown a monkey wrench into my plans by not showing Fantasmic every night. Otherwise, I'd be able to go ahead and start making my plans.

That is what i am going to do. We have park hoppers and have been to all the parks enough that if we dont get to see something its no big. I have a list of where i want to eat and i dont care what the park hours are, i will eat where i want when i can get ressies. We don't do a touring plan, we just usually wing it and hit the EMH night hours when we feel like it.

Well, it didn't look like it was going to happen this year, but we've decided to go ahead! I got everyone to agree to a moderate, I just wasn't up for a deluxe expense this year. We're going August 15 - 23, for our first stay at CSR and our first time with free dining!!!

Nothing! If you put in July dates that go through to August, you can see the hours!

Right now they are only showing the afternoon parade at Hollywood Studios and not Fantasmic. But, I saw a post on Intercot where somebody booked a Fantasmic package for 8/2 and was told that Fantasmic would be showing 8/2, 8/4 and 8/9 for sure.

If you want to see entertainment schedules, go to Disney's site and click on plan, then park hours. Next, you'll see the the individual theme parks. Click one of them and you'll see calendar on the left side of the page. Next, go to August, 2009. When the calendar pops up, click the individual days to see the schedule.
