Aug. 17 - Aug. 22 staying at Pop Century with FREE DINING - and we'll be celebrating my DS's 11th Birthday on our first day there

My DS11 and I will be staying at the WL 8/23 - 8/28. We usually go for Easter, but I was not able to afford it this year. When i got a 40% off Pin, I booked the 5 nights at WL for August for a steal. THis is exciting for my son. He is going with his father Aug 15-21 staying at AKL & BWV then comes home for a day and a half and back to Disney with Mom! Its Good to be the son of divorced parents when both love Disney!!! No complaints from him.

Looks like a lot of Disers are staying at the POFQ -- hope to see you there!

Our dates have changed - we're now going to be there 8/24 - 9/2 (leaving a day later for better airfares, and coming home 2 days later )

My mom and her best friend are going to be joining us for part of this trip -- I'm really happy!

Now I'm just stressing about ADRs. When I called to make the change/pay for the trip the CM told me they *might* be going back to the 180 window at some point before my trip. Now I'm afraid they'll switch back before me knowing it (and before my 5/25 90-day date) and I'll miss all my ADRs!

We booked the 4/3 deal for the new Bay Lake Tower from 8/8-8/15!!!

I am soooooo excited but worried about the HEAT!!!

My past trips I have taken the kids out of school but as they are getting older I just do not feel comfortable doing it anymore.

I guess we will just have to deal!!!!

Sunscreen, hats, water and ponchos. Try to not be at the parks between 1 and 4 pm. (be at a water park, resort, pool, etc.). I find it a bit crowded. We try to use faspasses and single rider whenever we can.

We love August - I love that I don't have to think -Is it going to be hot, I bring clothes for hot and it takes up a lot less room. We use the indoor attractions, restaurants, gift shops, etc. so we can cool down. It's so cold indoors, that I'm freezing by the time we go back out and I'm happy to go back out in the heat.

Hello to all! The five of us will be staying at the GF from August 6th-13th. I was absolutely thrilled when the 4/3 offer came out for the beginning of August. We got great airfare for the five of us at $692! First time at GF..trying SL...This is the last trip before my eldest DD goes off to college so we let her chose the resort. I don't know, but I am thinkin' that she chose well! Bye for now...

YAY!!!! Just found out today that we're headed down in August for my 30th! We're still working on the dates, as I'm in nursing school (school starts back on 8/24), and my MIL is using her timeshare. We have to check in on a Fri, Sat, or Sun, so that's the 14th, 15th, or 16th. My birthday is the 18th & that day will be spent in the MK seeing my son get his 1st hair cut on Main Street (even though Epcot is my favorite park, so those plans *might* change!)
