The old Lucy was Kelsey Grammers daughter - I loved her. I am not really digging any of the new people - including Craig

I do not like the nu lucy and maddie...

I loved the old Maddie and the Lucy I think her name was Peyton?

She was the Lucy I liked-the long haired one. She is the one who was with Aaron and Dusty.

This was the last Lucy that showed up as a dr. I liked her ok, but I don't that she ever caught on with most people. The other one was too popular.

I just remembered her name Peyton List is my favorite Lucy... i came to like Spencer Grammer but never as much as Peyton.

I read in one of the soap opera magazines that Lucy is leaving town to avoid being arrested and Maddie is going back to college. So they'll both be gone soon. I don't mind Lucy, but don't like Maddie at all.

Emily will hire Jade to flirt with Casey to keep him away from Ali.

Meg will divorce Paul and marry Dusty to help him with custody.

After hearing that Sage isn't happy about Carly marrying Craig, she backs out of it, angering Craig.

The judge will determine the custody of Johnny on Januwary 29.

Paul will show up and say that Meg and Dusty's marriage isn't legal because he never signed the divorce papers and that will make Dusty (and Meg) look bad and custody will be granted to Craig!

Rumor has it Parker and Liberty will have sex again (somehow thanks to Craig) and she gets pregnant! I heard though that this story is really to focus on the adults (Jack, Janet, Carly and Craig).

I hope Liberty is not pregnant - after all the parents yelling you think they'd be smart. - hopefully just a rumor. Then again we have not had a teen pregnancy story in ages!

Kind of wish Carly would marry Craig - could make for some great stories

Maura West is pregnant again.

How will they write her out this time? What have they done before? I remember when she and Lily and Emily were away at some spa. I also remember her abandoning her children. That one was HORRIBLE.

I think her 1st child was from a previous relationship, and now this will be 4 with "Andy." I really wish they'd bring him back!

And please don't let them do something off the wall with her character again!

I read on here, too. Just wanted to let you newer DISers know (and remind the older ones) that it was my DD Hilary (DIS name-Hilside) who started this thread back in 2004! Check out the first post!

Unfortunately, she passed away on May 16, 2006. I knew it was getting close to the limit for # of pages and wanted to let you know before Official As the World Turns thread Part Two gets started!

She would be happy to know that it is still going strong!

I read on here, too. Just wanted to let you newer DISers know (and remind the older ones) that it was my DD Hilary (DIS name-Hilside) who started this thread back in 2004! Check out the first post!

Unfortunately, she passed away on May 16, 2006. I knew it was getting close to the limit for # of pages and wanted to let you know before Official As the World Turns thread Part Two gets started!

She would be happy to know that it is still going strong!

Thanks for posting this. It will be sad not to see her as the OP anymore. Please join in and talk about ATWT with us. Is there someway to have her in the new thread? Maybe you should be the one to start it and have a little reminder of her in the first post.

I came across Sharon Case's Bio (Sharon YR) and it said she played the character Debbi Simon on ATWT from 1992-1993. I was living in Italy then so didn't see the show. Who was this character and how did she fit in to Oak Dale?

I remember her. She was an ugly duckling (glasses, bad hair and clothes) and very shy. I'll have to look up the storyline though. Seems like someone abused her in some way?

Found it:

Editor Ned Simon came to Oakdale from New York City looking for a new Amber D'Amour. Since the current author under that pen name was retiring. Ned needed a replacement and was pleasantly surprised when another one of his authors, Seth Snyder, showed Ned his mother's manuscript. Impressed, Ned went to the Snyder farm to solicit Emma to write romance novels for his company. Not seeing herself as a novelist, merely a farmwoman, Emma required a lot of handholding and Ned paid frequent visits to her farm in Luther's Corner. Ned and Emma formed an easy friendship that over the course of a few months blossomed. As their feelings turned romantic, Seth warned Emma that Ned was a married man. Ned admitted it but emphasized that it was in name only: he and his wife were together solely for the benefit of their mentally unbalanced daughter, Debbie. Emma understood and soon the pair became lovers.

Meanwhile Debbie, thanks to new medication, had been making a vast improvement and was finally released from the mental institution and sent home. Optimistic about Debbie's recovery, Ned decided the time was right to end his marriage. After asking Emma to marry him, Ned brought Debbie to the farm to meet the Snyders. Unfortunately, this would be a fatal mistake. At the farm, Debbie competed with Rosanna Cabot for the attentions of stablehand Hutch Hutchison which worried Ned. Unable to fully get Hutch's mind off Rosanna, Debbie fell prey to the charms of Linc Lafferty. Unfortunately, after seducing her, Linc discarded her. Devastated, Debbie had a relapse and was institutionalized again. Not long after, Linc was found dead from a gunshot wound and suspicion fell on Connor Walsh. Meanwhile, Ned seemed to be under stress and unexpectedly died of a cerebral hemorrhage. Immediately after, a letter was delivered to the Oakdale PD telling them that he had murdered Linc over Linc’s treatment of his daughter.
