Janet extends a helping hand to Carly on Tuesday, November 25......On Wednesday, November 26, Dani places a mysterious call.... On Monday, December 1, Emily doesn't take rejection well.... Jack has trouble making ends meet on Tuesday, December 2.


Emily wants to get rid of Josie.

Lucinda is released from the hospital

Carly gets help from Janet.

Dani's phone call is to a mystery person.

Josie and Dusty probe into her ties to Jen.

Emily isn't part of the Tom and Margo's Thanksgiving dinner.

Luke can't enjoy the holidays.

Janet puts on a good face where Carly is concerned.

Jacket has something to tell everyone.

Casey is frosty to Emily.

Dusty gets a clue.

Dusty isn't the only man in Oakdale that Josie is connected to.


Paul and Dusty get into it and Dusty shoots Paul (don't worry, he's not badly injured, or is that rats, he's not badly injured? LOL). Dusty is arrested and runs into Craig at the police station. They have a heated exchange.

Dani Andropulous swaps spit with.... Craig! Are they having a fling? (Eww, didn't he believe she was his daughter at one time?) And are they working together on the Spencer "murder" thing?

Emily confronts Dusty at the police station.

Paul plays Santa to Meg and their daughter in what appears to be a dream sequence (since the kid is not born yet).



A Time For Thanks?

Lily takes her girls to see Lucinda at the hospital and is surprised to see that Lucinda is being released. Lucinda insists that she wants to spend Thanksgiving at the farm. Holden notices that Luke is unhappy. He tries to cheer him up but fails. Holden finds Noah and invites him to dinner. No one seems to notice that Luke is drinking beer from his coffee cup. Noah arrives and Luke's spirits rise. When he finds out that Holden invited him, Luke's happiness is quickly doused. When Lucinda and Brian arrive, Luke grows increasingly uncomfortable. During dinner, Luke ignores Brian and more than one person notices. After dinner, Noah tries to find out why Luke is acting the way he is but doesn't get an answer because Brian interrupts. When Brian discovers that Luke is drinking, Luke dares him to tell on him.

Meanwhile, Jack is bringing Sage to the farm for Thanksgiving. Carly is nervous because of Janet. Jack informs Carly that Sage has to get used to it. Once at the farm, Sage's unhappiness shows and she will not apologize to Janet. Janet goes to Carly's and invites her to the farm. Carly doesn't want to go, but eventually gives in. Sage is thrilled to see her mother and takes note on how she acts around Janet. Sage overhears Carly tell Lily that Janet was the one that invited her to the farm. Will Sage finally apologize?


Twisted Love

Emily tries to convince Paul to join her in her plot to get rid of Josie. Meg overhears and asks the two what they are discussing. Emily tells Meg she is trying to get Josie to leave town and Paul won't help her. Later Paul admits to Meg that he did help Emily out but it backfired. Meg forgives him for not telling her sooner. Paul and Meg later run into Dusty and Josie who have arrived back from Tampa. Josie wonders about the relationship between Dusty and Meg. Dusty admits that Paul is jealous of his and Meg's relationship.

Josie decides to prepare an anti-Thanksgiving meal when Paul shows up. Paul is angry with Josie for not returning his calls. Paul reveals that he hired the woman to get close to Dusty by acting like Jennifer. Josie insists that she will stop because she is finding herself falling in love with Dusty. Paul scoffs, stating that Dusty is incapable of love. Paul instructs that she ups the stakes. When Paul leaves for the farm for Thanksgiving dinner, Josie is left with a decision. Should she reveal her true feelings for Dusty or continue with Paul's plan? She may not have a choice when a phone call comes in with a lead on Lucy and Johnny.


Oakdale Happenings

Jack and Janet announce their wedding date...Paul and Meg reveal the name of their little girl...Brad and Katie visit Henry in jail. They go to Chicago to try to find Spencer. They track her to when she lives, but she isn't there. They call Dani who says she will be right there. Dani promises to investigate and not tell Margo. Dani places a call and understands exactly what she has to do...Alison suggests that Casey tell Margo and Tom about the expulsion as the holidays are a forgiving time. Casey will, but only if Alison comes with him. She agrees and once there they run into Emily who is there to pick up Daniel. Casey insists that Alison stay for dinner and Daniel insists that Emily stay as well. Tension is thick and it explodes when Casey drops his bombshell. Everyone is yelling and Casey and Emily both end up outside. Casey rejects Emily's advances. Emily ends up very sad and very alone.

SPUMORS:

Lucy has been recast folks, and she's heading back to Oakdale. The only reason she has come out of hiding is that Johnny is ill again- and she needs Dusty's resources to save him. It seems Lucy's experiences over the past year has changed her for the better or worse, because the previously innocent Lucy wastes no time making death threats against Dusty AND Craig, saying she will kill them if their war over Johnny get's in the way of saving her younger brother. She's definitely grown into her own woman.

Josie won't be around much longer. The scam her and Paul are pulling is going to be exposed. Dusty's going to bang and dump her, for lack of a better word. Once he finds out the truth, he won't be interested. Plus Lucy is returning, and she's not the nice wishy-washy Lucy he's used to.

Dani is not only working with Craig, they are lovers. You'll be seeing the two swap spit with each other. And more than that. Craig has his hot young lover, and the fantasy they'll raise Johnny together.

While there might be a little romantic tension brewing between Casey and Alison, Jade is going to befriend both and provide some much needed flirtation for Casey away from the Stewart women. The The show is planning a love triangle between Alison/Casey/Jade. The stages are being set over the last couple of weeks, and upcoming ones as well.

Noah doesn't believe Luke regarding the kiss between him and Brian. However, something else is going to happen between Luke and Brian. That kiss was nothing. Will Luke be exonerated in the end?


A couple of weeks ago there were rumors that Austin Peck (Brad Snyder) and Agim Kaba (Aaron Snyder) were leaving As the World Turns. The CBS edition of Soaps in Depth is now reporting that Austin is not leaving, but that Agim has been dropped to recurring status. Will Agim have to face the same destiny as Dylan Bruce (Chris Hughes)? He was dropped to recurring status too, but still ended up leaving the show

Craig is sleeping with Betsy's daughter. I don't know what to say. I think Craig knew she was Steve's, but pretended she was his-and Betsy wasn't sure. Craig couldn't have kids-before they forgot that part and he fathered Bryant, Lucy, and Johnny of course. I'm already pissed over yet another fake Craig,and now this!?

My mom started watching ATWT and GL when she was pregnant with me in 1971/72. I in turn would always watch with her as a girl, and then as an adult.

Both of us turned off both shows earlier this year. They were getting so stupid, repetitive and just ridiculous. Bad, bad writing, poor casting choices, just not worth the time anymore. Sad, really, as I have some really fond memories of both shows.

Not only Jade is coming back to Oakdale with a new face. Soaps.com is reporting that Maddie Coleman, Lucy Montgomery and Jennifer's son Johnny are coming back to As the World Turns next month.

Kelly Barret has been cast as Maddie (previously played by Alexandra Chando from 2005 until 2007). Maddie left Oakdale last year to go to college. Her first episode is set for December 22.

Sarah Glendening has been cast as Lucy Montgomery (last played by Spencer Grammer in 2006). She's bringing her little brother Johnny, played by Bailey Harkins, with her. Their first airdate is set for December 24.

I really like maddie and Lucy . glad to get them back. I hope the actresses are likeable. The last one that played Maddie was so darn cute and sweet.

Paolo Seganti (Damian Grimaldi) will be returning to As the World Turns in 2009. The actor, who was last spotted in Oakdale in August 2006, will be back to mix things up with his on-screen son. Seganti's return is expected to help boost the show's ratings.

As the World Turns will not air on December 25.
