So am I confused. At one time wasn't their a rumor of Damien with Carly? Now did that change that to where its going to be Simon and Carly? I can see that so much better than I can see Carly with Damion.

I like it when the ladies are all pals too- wasn't it Carly, Emily, Rose and someone else- after their 'spa' drama with James, they were all great friends? I liked that. And then Carly and Lily with the Julia thing....I think Katie and Carly's friendship could muddle thru it. I mean Katie is married to Mike, who has had several flings with Ms. Tenney.

I love watching Carly. I remember when my NOW 14 year old was about 4 and I was watching ATWT and Carly was yelling about something and he came in and said,

"Mommy is Carly having her fit again?"

I cracked up!!!! I still tease him about it!

As the World Turns Recasts Craig

Actor Jeffrey Meek joins As the World Turns this fall as the new Craig Montgomery. Meek's soap credits include Search for Tomorrow, where he played Quinn McCleary from 1984 to 1986. He also did a few episodes of General Hospital as Reverend Thomas Dade in 2002.

Last played by Hunt Block, Craig went off to jail in August 2005. Loyal ATWT viewers can tell the CBS soap has been busy setting the stage for Craig's return. Frasier star Kelsey Grammer's kid, Spencer Grammer, recently joined the show as Craig's grown daughter, Dr. Lucy Montgomery. Plus, Jennifer (Jennifer Ferrin) is now dead, so a baby battle between Craig and her child's adoptive father, Dusty (Grayson McCouch) looks pretty inevitable.

What happened to Vienna Hyatt?? Loved that by the way- such a play on Paris Hilton. I enjoy Simon soooo much! Can't wait to see the sparks fly between him and Carly- definate chemistry there! She's more his type anyway- exciting and unpredictable! Jack just brought her down!

Are you crazy?! That girl is driving me NUTS! And I'm just loving all the casting for the high schoolers- not! I was ready to mute the TV when the one girl was talking at the beginning of the show!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Simon and Carly together! MEGA chemistry! MEGA! Jack can dish it out, but he can't take it as far as he and Carly are concerned. I just love Carly. (and I love Jack sometimes too, but I'm sick of them together- maybe Jack can put some sense into Emily?).

I don't think the killer is Jade- but I'm not sure who.

I was walking thru Target recently, and Casey is a model on one of the men's clothing signage thingees. I was like, Hey, wait a minute- I know him!

Spoilers for next week (7/31/06)

Mike and Simon agree to work together. Carly turns down Simon’s offer, but later changes her mind. Holden is shocked when he learns Luke is leaving. Damien has a thing for Lucy, and Dusty’s not too happy. Will offers Jade money for her own place. Dusty gets some good advice from Barbara. Emily suffers from stomach pains. Meg fears Emily will use their child to manipulate Paul. Barbara warns Gwen to keep Jade away from Will. Margo believes Maddie may have staged her attack.

Maddie is questioned by her siblings when they find blood on her hands. Jade confesses to Margo that she witnessed Maddie tossing something into the river. Dallas believes Will may be involved with the murders. When Margo confronts Maddie about the knives, Maddie has a violent flashback. Margo orders Casey to stay away from Maddie. Maddie overhears Will and Jade talking about their night together and confronts them both, causing another violent flashback. Later, Maddie is attacked by the assumed killer but is saved by Gwen. Shortly after, an angry Maddie reveals to Gwen that Jade or Will probably attacked her to make sure she doesn’t reveal that they slept together!!

I haven't been able to watch since we moved. I don't have TIVO anymore and DH gets home from work in the middle of the show!

How did they work Hal out of the show?

How are Carly and Simon working together? I thought she told him no and told Katie he was back in town?

What is the deal with maddie? Is she doing the killings? Has she completly lost touch with reality? Who else could it be?

Maddie finds out next week. Sounds like Gwen will believe her too!

I also LOVE Carly with Simon even though I am a sucker for a happy ending and would LOVE for Jack to regret his decision and try to win her back. That would be fun. I also loved Carly with Craig there for awhile. Till they actually fooled around. Then it wasn't exciting anymore.

I think Simon wins over Mike due to personality! That's my vote.
