Mike Postpones the Wedding
When Mike tells Katie that theyll have to postpone the wedding temporarily so he can help his brother in Europe, Katie becomes very upset and disappointed. She tells him that she feels something bad is going to happen, just like it has in the past each time theyve been close to tying the knot. Mike reassures her that everything will be ok and has asked Nick to stay and protect Katie. Though it doesnt make her extremely happy, Katie is ok with it. Later, Mike arranges for Nick to stay at a hotel so he and Katie can have one last romantic night before he goes away.
Maddie & Casey Work to Clear Will & Gwens Name; Will & Gwen are arrested
The teens (Gwen and Will) have to leave the Metro earlier than expected due to the upcoming construction. Will then calls Maddie and asks her to pick up come warm clothes for them and Maddie gets to work, making sure she avoids Casey while doing so. Though she thinks she has stayed under Caseys radar, she is unaware that he followed her to the Metro. Maddie is told by Gwen and Will that they are going to LA. Casey confronts Maddie later about her lies unaware that Margo has been eavesdropping. Margo demands answers from them and just as Casey is about to crack, Margo receives an important phone call from the station. Maddie then passionately defends Gwen regarding what happened to Barbara. After seeing how strongly Maddie feels about this, he decides to help her. The teens (Casey and Maddie) met with Lisa and learn that Barbara has a nanny-cam in her room. Casey steals a master key from Lisa and they go up to Barbaras room. Just as they are about to beak in, Barbara comes home. Elsewhere, Will decides that he and Gwen should leave now, but before they can leave, Margo arrests them.
Carly & Jack Have A Romantic Night
Carly, thinking fast on her toes, comes up with an excuse for where shes been and why shes with Nick. It doesnt do her much good seeing as how Jack is upset with her anyway. For the sake of her marriage, Carly decides to quit her undercover work at the strip joint and throws her outfit away, only to later take it out of the trash and wear it to the police station with it on!
Carly and Jack go into the interrogation room and begin making out, unaware that they have a voyeur in the form of Nick who just happens to be smitten by Carly. He interrupts their romantic moment and suggests that Jack goes home with Carly for Valentines Day. Jack shoots it down, but Nick tells him that he will cover for him. Later, Carly is given a special gift from Jack, then they go upstairs to be one with each other; Nick fantasizes about kissing Carly.
Pauls Plan Is Thwarted By Dusty; Meg & Paul Kiss!
Due to the fact that he is the one who handpicked Madame Lacoste, Paul decides to go with her the next time she visits Jennifer. Lacoste and a heavily disguised Paul go to the Lakeview and see Jen waiting. After mentioning how she regrets dealing with Paul, Jennifer is shocked when Lacoste reveals that Paul may not be dead. Jen demands to know more, but Lacoste protests that she is exhausted and needs time to rest.
Paul is surprised when he sees Meg at the Lakeview. He goes over to her and slips her a matchbook from the Wagon Wheel hotel, saying to meet her there. When Meg arrives, she yells at him instead of telling him how she really feels. Meg tries to convince him to leave town, but Paul stands his ground and says he needs Jen to forgive him. Paul then turns the tables and advises Meg to leave town, but she stands firm as well. Back at Jens, she convinces Dusty to leave to she can spend more time with the psychic. Following Pauls orders, Lacoste reveals that that Paul is in fact alive, but Dusty arrives and overhears them talking. Dusty, afraid that even in his death Paul is coming between them, decides to investigate the psychic.
Meanwhile, Emily, desperate for news about Paul, tells Henry to follow Meg. Henry, tired of being told what to do, stands up to Emily and tells her to forget about Paul. Emily snaps back and threatens Henry, telling him either he helps her or shell make his life hell. When Meg and Emily come face to face later, Emily grills Meg on info about Paul. Emily demands to know why Meg is helping Paul after all that he cost her, but Meg doesnt reveal a thing. She instead tells Emily to cut her losses and move on. She also tells Emily to be happy that shes not being charged with attempted murder. When Emily meets up with Henry later, he once again urges her to let go Paul, though Emily is unable to just give up on the man she once loved, still loves and lost. Emilys delusion begins to grow when she tells Henry that Paul has returned and hasnt turned her in is due to his love of her and his want to be with her.
Elsewhere, Meg returns to Paul and is asked to deliver something to Madame Lacoste on Pauls behalf. Meg refuses at first, but Paul is eventually able to change her mind. When Meg gets to Java, she makes the delivery to Lacoste
just in time for Dusty to see!! Dusty comes to the conclusion that Meg set up this whole thing to get back at Jennifer. Dusty confronts Meg, who refuses to betray Paul, but is unable to explain why shes there. A hurt Meg returns to Paul and is surprisingly comforted by her; Dusty returns and tells Jennifer that Meg set her up, forcing a devastated Jennifer to realize that her brother is really dead. Back at Java, Emily, who witnessed the entire exchange between Meg and Dusty, realizes that Meg left her coat behind. Emily searches through the pockets and finds the matchbook. She rushes over to the other hotel only to find the man she loves kissing the woman she dislikes so much!!!
Lucinda Has Reservations About Jade; Lily Learns Shes Pregnant
Jade is introduced to Lucinda. After Jade leaves, Lucindas flag goes up. She tells Lily that she has strong reservations about Jade, who suddenly appears from no where. Even though Lily has the evidence to prove that Jade is part of their family, Lucinda remains unconvinced. Lucinda manages to get Holden alone and tries to convince him to demand a blood test.
Later, Jade asks Lily if she is pregnant. Lily denies it, but thinks that it could be true. She takes a pregnancy test and later happily tells Holden that she is going to have another baby! Holden, though very happy, still wants Lily to have jade take a blood test. Lily tells him no, confident in her belief that Jade is who she claims to be. They make plans to tell their children and agree to include them, and Jade, in choosing the name for their new relative. Jade convinces Luke to take the girls out of the house so his parents can have some alone time for Valentines Day. Luke agrees and they go to Emmas. Back at home, Holden is more concerned than ever that with a new baby on the way, they need to find out if shes who she says she is. Lily asks her husband to try and get to know Jade first. Holden says hell try; Lily promises if she senses something is wrong, shell ask for a blood test.
