Missed again today. I am just going to have to start setting the DVD everyday to record for me. I just can't seem to get to the TV at 2pm. Anyone have a re-cap for today. I just wonder how long they will keep on with the Jen, baby thing too. Carly and Gwen both are going to be upset when the truth comes out.

Let's see - today - I missed the first 20 minutes

BJ - is "scared" of cops - clinic-ly documented - blah blah - thats why he ran away - and he wants to have a big Halloween party - costume party ... wants to plan it with Katie - they go to Al's Diner - and she talks about high school and mentions this geeky guy who helped her with dance decorations - and he hints as to being that guy - and then backs off and says that he wants the theme of his party to be - what everyone comes what they were like in high shcool

he leaves and leaves behind his notebook

Maddie brags to Casey about living in a mansion with Henry... they didn't believe her and she takes them out there - then after they leave she finds she finds a box with a Cheerleader outfit in it. - she has this daydream about BJ tying up Mike and making Katie cheer for him -- it was funny

BJ catches Maddie there - she says some stuff about "I know who you are" and in walks Katie -

Gwen and Will talk about Billy and how much she loves him - even when he is screaming and Barbara shows up ... is mean. Talking about how awful Gwen is and in comes Iris and she gives her "what for" calls her an "underfed clothes horse"

Iris and the lawyer - get together and are going before the judge with some evidence and makes Gwen go with her instead of having an MRI - Iris takes her to the station -

Jack and Carly - well they found outfrom the vendor about Carly drugging Gwen and Jack covering it up and Margo tells Jack how much trouble he is in because he covered it up Margo says to Jack "It has to be done" - Jack says something about letting him take care of it and then he --- ARRESTS CARLY!!! Because the vendor told the police everything. He has to lock her up and wait til they set bail.

The lawyer sets things up so that they have to before the judge - Carly begs Gwen not to take Rory out of their home - away from the only family he has ever known and loves --- Iris says something like - Come on Angel Girl - lets go buy a new crib

I think that is about it - more or less

Just wanted to add that we finally saw a darker side of BJ when he caught Maddie there. He was very angry and he said maybe he should call the police and then he said nevermind, I handle you myself, and he looked like he was about to hurt her when she said "don't touch me, I know who you are", right then Katie came in.

That better be a lie covering for the fact that he didn't want Margo to recognize him because if he is really cop-a-phobic....I'm going to stop watching as that's the dumbest condition ever on a soap!

I really want to see Will and Gwen together, as a real couple, without the baby, so get the kid back to Jen and let's move along now!

I don't think they showed Jen at all today - I want this baby thing over - but then what will I have to complain about?

B O R I N G! You guys didn't miss much. Let's see if I can give you the abbreviated version.
The Snyders...
Lily and Holden go out on a 'date' to pick apples. Very Romantic Holden, NOT! Anyway, they come home and start going at it in the living room, Lily breaks away to put the apples in the pantry. Holden tells her 'Thank You' she says 'for what' he says that he wanted to tell her Thank You in case he forgets after they have 'wild sex' in the pantry. They start going at it again and head for the pantry when the doorbell rings. Guess Who? Yep, Keith, he was at Java watching/stalking Luke and when Luke went to leave and told Keith to 'quit following me' he kinda stumbles, Keith says 'I'm taking you home'. As Keith, Lily and Holden have words in the foyer they hear a crash and run to the living room to find Luke passed out on the floor...

Katie/Mike/BJ/Maddie...
Katie follows BJ to Fairwinds to return his PDA and walks in on him yelling at Maddie. She wants to know what's going on? BJ makes some kind of excuse...Maddie goes along with it. Katie gets a phone call from Mike that he 'lost something' and she goes home to help him find it. Maddie tells BJ the whole story about the emails and trying to get Katie and Henry back together and somehow BJ manages to get Maddie to keep her mouth shut, and agrees to let her and Henry move in. Katie gets home to find the couch missing and a 'bed' laid out on the living room floor in front of the fireplace. Mike come down the stairs in a towel , navy blue to be exact, and says he was hoping to be laying on the pillows when she walked in. She asked what he lost. 'Us' he says and the towel drops to the floor and you get a very nice side view of their legs up to about mid-thigh. Mike's is very well toned, by the way, nice tan too! A couple of segments later they are talking and Katie's cell phone rings. Guess Who again??? You are so good at this, Yes, it's BJ. Who'd a thunk it? Anyway he asks 'Did I get you at a bad time?' Now let me take a minute to jump on my soap box. Picture this...Your laying on a blanket in front of a fire with Mike...NAKED. UH, YES IT'S A BAD TIME!!! Katie says 'Oh no, it's the perfect time.' UGH! BJ says 'You'll never guess what I found at the thrift store?' While he's fingering the cheerleader uniform. He's a freak! 'Well, I'll let it be a surprise. blah blah, halloween party, blah, blah. goodbye"
Can you tell I was focusing on Mike?

Dusty/Jen/Paul/Emily...
Jen meets Dusty at Al's and they discuss what to do next. Dusty has an idea and says they could have they're answer today without even leaving Oakdale. They talk and Jen says something about having someone they trust to get the samples from both her and the baby to run the tests. Paul arrives and Dusty heads for the hospital. Paul tells Jen that he knows that Emily saw them at the airport and that there wasn't any fashion show in PA so where did they go? Jen tells him that she still thinks that her baby is alive and that her and Dusty are trying to find proof. Paul tells her if she feels that way he will help her however he can and that Dusty is 'too close' and shouldn't be helping. Jen tells him that Dusty has stood by from the beginning and she trusts him. Paul does a slow burn.
Meg is at work and Emma shows up. She is on cloud nine about Holden and Lily and wants Meg to know that she sees the way Meg is when she talks about Dusty and even though she doesn't like him she will stand behind Meg in whatever she choses. Meg breaks down in tears remembering seeing Jen and Dusty in bed the day before. Emma leaves and Meg gets a phone call from Emily. Meg tells her she's going to tell Jen the truth. Well about 2 minutes later Emily shows up and her and Meg start to argue. Emily tells her that if she keeps her mouth shut Paul is going to take Jen out of town and that she can have Dusty all to herself. Meg asks 'So I'm supposed to live the rest of my life lying to Dusty?' They argue some more and Dusty walks in...

I guess that's about all.

Jack gets kicked off the force for what he did to protect Carly. Not surprised.

Gwen is awarded custody of Rory and Iris is appointed guardian of her daughter and grandson. Dusty uses the chance to get Meg to perform a
DNA test. Meg thinks about telling the truth, but in the end fakes the
test and Jen is devastated to hear that the baby isn't hers. She dumps
Dusty, who turns to Meg for comfort.

Oh how this makes me so mad that Meg decided to be a sleeze ball for the sake of a guy and not tell the truth.

Calling all ATWT fans!!!!!

I noticed there were threads for other soaps, but didn't find one for this show, so I figured I'd start my own.

I have watched ATWT and GL as long as I can remember. I'm 31 now, so some of the earliest stories I remember were the Betsy/Steve/Craig triangle, and Margo and Tom trying to bring down Mr. Big.

I write the scoops for all the soaps for TVMegasite, which I usually get from Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly. I just read that Benjamin Hendrickson (Hal) is leaving by the end of the summer, after 19 years. The show says they will recast.. I can't believe that. After an actor has played a character for that long, I think they should let them walk into the sunset--I don't think it will be easy getting used to a new Hal! What do you think?

I haven't watched that show in forever! But do you remember the Snyder family? Craig was in love with Ellie but then Ciara came back. And there was a love triangle between Holden/Lily/Dusty. There was a character named Julie that I liked too. Anyways I havenot read all the posts so if this is here somewhere forgive me, but so you know the names of the actresses that played Ellie and Julie?

Other than Emma, I'd say Rory/Billy but give him a couple of months, I'm sure he'll fit into Oakdale just fine!

This BJ guy is just plain creepy. The chocolate milks scares the heck out of me for some strange reason. And at this point, enough already with keeping from Katie and Mike together....how many people can possible try to keep them apart. It's getting ridiculous.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the only thing I'm really looking forward to on this show is Gwen and Will. Let's hope for some more interesting fast moving storylines and that Paul gets hit by a bus.

I agree with all of that. I love Will and Gwen too. I will really be annoyed if the baby story lasts until MARCH!!! Enough already. Poor Gwen when she finds out the truth.

About Paul getting hit by a bus!!! Can you IMAGINE how MAD Barbara is going to be when she finds out what Paul did??? After all, Babs did lose a baby and it was one of a very few human moments she's had.... to know that Paul is playing God just like his old man. Momma's going to be peeved!
