I'm hating the Adam storyline today-he wasn't always evil! He was such a sweet guy until they brought him back in that one wacked storyline!

I'm so glad Henry and Katie are going to be ok. When Henry told Brad not to play dumb, that it just comes naturally:rotfl:

I'm going to vent again (where is everyone who used to post on this thread?)

I'm watching now, and the memorial for Adam really pissed me off! Not using history is what I think is killing soaps! Where were Bob, Kim, and Lisa (Adam's step-grandparents), Craig (his uncle), Katie (his aunt), Parker (his brother). All of these people live in town! None of Tom and Margo's families bothered to show up for the memorial?

And Dusty:scared: To me, Dusty was the sexiest man in soaps BEFORE he "died." But now, that long, gray, slicked back hair does NOTHING for me!

I'm still here!

I agree with everything you said. :thumbsup2

I also am annoyed by the Katie/Brad pregnant, not pregnant storyline. She BETTER NOT loose yet another baby. :sad1:

I'm here too. Tom said Margo didn't want family around for the memorial- but I think that is strange since they are such a close family

I agree about Dusty's hair and the katie story line. I really hope Vienna gets pregnant and they have babies at the same time - I think that would be so funny.

I know, but it just makes TPTB look cheap! There should have been family there!

I'm tired of dead babies/kids-even grown ones!

Im still here also. Just not much time to post...only read :thumbsup2

I agree also with what you said.....I thought it was kinda sad that it was only a few. And what is up with this new guy that was Adams friend... I just dont trust him...For some reason I think it is a kinda of set up by Adam.....

That he IS alive, but he is pulling one of his jerkey things and either he wants to pull a disappear act or that he wants his family to mourn him and think of him as a good guy that was trying to change and than he will show up at the front door saying that someone made it look as if he was dead but he never really was

than they will all forgive his past deads because he will pull the wool right over there eyes....for awhile anyway till they really find out the truth.

this spoiler by the way makes me thinkg they are in it together...... Margo's neediness is something Riley takes advantage of.

Didn't they pull the same thing with the other guy, Matt? I think he played on Margo's sympathies when Casey was in prison. I really liked him the 1st time around-is he even on the show anymore? I don't think Adam is dead either-if he doesn't show up soon they are leaving it open (no body) for him to show up later.

I was even madder today when Katie and Kim were on-and not one mention of Adam!

It may be one the biggest casting coups of the year. Former General Hospital and Port Charles star, Lynn Herring, will join the As the World Turns cast in July. Once one of daytime's biggest stars, Herring hasn't been seen on daytime in more than five years and admits she was hurt that GH never asked her to return.

As the World Turns has scored one of the biggest casting coups of the past year. The CBS soap has signed daytime veteran, Lynn Herring (ex-Lucy Coe, General Hospital/Port Charles), to a newly created role. Herring will play Audrey, the "gold-digging mother" of Henry Coleman.

In an exclusive interview with TVGuide's Michael Logan, Herring laments that no one from ABC ever contacted her about returning to General Hospital following the October 2003 cancellation of Port Charles. Herring created the role of Lucy Coe on General Hospital in 1989. When the 30-minute GH spinoff, Port Charles, debuted in June 1997, it was seen as a vehicle to further Herring's star status. There was believed to be a clause in Herring's contract that would allow her to return to General Hospital in the event that Port Charles was cancelled.

"[General Hospital] had gone in a whole new direction with Sonny and the Mafia [by the time Port Charles was cancelled]," Herring reflects, "and they've done very well by that. I knew Lucy wouldn't fit into that. Her high jinks and her comedic vixeny thing didn't seem to match with that serious tone, so it didn't bother me not to be asked back. I understood. But then when they brought back Finola Hughes [Anna] and Emma Samms [Holly Sutton], I did start to feel bad. I thought, there's gotta be a little space for me! But with Kin Shriner [Scott Baldwin] gone, there weren't many characters Lucy had related to a lot. I guess I was disappointed quite a bit, really. I understood why I wouldn't be offered a full-blown, long-term thing. I just wanted something."

While it's not quite Port Charles, in As the World Turns' Oakdale, Herring will be reunited with several of her former co-stars. The most notable, of course, is Jon Lindstrom (Craig Montgomery) who played Lucy's beloved "Doc," Kevin Collins on both General Hospital and Port Charles. Marie Wilson (Meg Snyder) and Julie Pinson (Janet Ciccone) also appeared opposite Herring on Port Charles, as Karen Wexler and Eve Lambert, respectively.

Since leaving daytime, Herring has focused her attention to two distinctly un-Hollywood jobs: tending to cattle on the ranch where she and husband Wayne Nortrop live near Raymond, California, and operating the Raymond Museum-which she also owns.

In a recent "Where are they now?" feature for a soap opera magazine, it was reported that Herring was content with her life outside the spotlight and had no desire to return to the world of acting. In the TVGuide interview, however, Herring reveals that she submitted her name as a possible recast candidate for the role of The Young and the Restless' Jill Abbott. When the top-rated soap came to terms on a new contract with actress Jess Walton, there was no longer a need to recast the role.

Herring makes her As the World Turns debut on July 24. The role is tentatively slated to run about six to eight weeks.

Spoilers June 22-26

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AS THE WORLD TURNS: Col. Mayer surprised Riley at the base and threatened to reveal his true identity. When Casey showed Margo evidence that Riley is dead, she went to confront him and was shot by Mayer, who escaped. A concerned Riley rushed to help Margo, calling her "mom." Carly agreed to become engaged to Craig again, secretly drinking but denying it when Parker saw her and told Jack. When Damian's acquisition of shares in Worldwide came to light, Meg was furious. After Damian apologized, Meg said he might have a chance with her if he stops using his money to control others. Emily got closer to Larry after he somehow found her eggs at the hospital. Alison tried helping Hunter get the name of his real father.

***
Also, I read that Hunter is related to someone in Oakdale. I'm betting he is Emily's son!

I haven't watched ATWT in a long time (I used to post here too)

I turned on the TV today and who did I see - the original Roseanne and Damian!!!

And then I came here a read this:

James is coming back in August!

Time to start watching again.....:cool1:

emily's son - good theory!!

so will Riley be Adam???? Maybe he had plastic surgery or something??

That's the rumor-that Riley died and Adam switched places with him. I assume Adam was in the explosion and was disfigured:confused3

With Hunter, it is just too convenient that Emily's eggs are missing at the same time that Hunter finds out his mother lied to him about his paternity. I'm thinking she used donated eggs to have him. His mother has been cast and will be making an appearance soon.

So who else is thinking James is behind Emily's missing eggs-the timing seems pretty suspicious!:scared1:

Meg gives Dusty the unvarnished truth

The bond between Emily and Larry outrages Susan

And Dusty:scared: To me, Dusty was the sexiest man in soaps BEFORE he "died." But now, that long, gray, slicked back hair does NOTHING for me!

Can you say UGLY ???? Please - bring back the buzz cut - and loose the "attitude".. His constant anger really gets under my skin..

That's the rumor-that Riley died and Adam switched places with him. I assume Adam was in the explosion and was disfigured:confused3

I've been thinking the same thing - that Riley is actually Adam..

Also, I really like Carly and Craig together - they play "off" of each other very well.. I'm also enjoying her alcoholic storyline..
.

So I found out that my suspicions were right....that Riley is Adam.
I Also have no doubt that Hunter is Emily's child....but before that comes to light Alison and him will hook up and fall for each other.

as for Dusty...good grief, he is gonna have a heart attach if he does not get a hold of himself. He looks and acts as if he's in the Mafia:lmao: He use to be this sweet cute young man.

I just love Henry and when he was poll dancing...well :rotfl2:...... He is one of my Favorite characters. At least ATWT has more realistic story lines than The Young and the Restless has been .....

And what is up with all the faces Carley has been making....her lips are driving me crazy. She seems to not be able to talk anymore without making her lips go in funny shapes.

They actually aren't going to drag out the Emily/Hunter/Alison storyline, thank goodness. I really don't understand the purpose of it though. And I'm happy with anything Henry does-just keep him onscreen!
